Food variety is great, could use some more stuff, everyone is kind and good at remembering faces, although it is very crowded, decor is nice but still crowded and there isn’t much parking

I rarely give 5 stars. This one just made it. Small little diner with every seat taken. Got a spot at the long bar and watched the food being prepared. Breakfast for lunch seems to be a specialty here. Had a great meal, my drink stayed full and it was under $10.00. Located on a main street in downtown Reidsville. Worth the drive.

Old timey diner in the downtown area. Warm and friendly service. We’ve made multiple visits here and each time the food was very good.
Seating is somewhat limited but worth the wait.

An absolute gem of an old-time bar oriented diner. You will be transported back in time as soon as you walk through these doors! The staff is exceedingly friendly and the establishment is filled with locals!

Step back in time at Carolina Cafe. Back when food was fresh, servers were friendly/joyful, prices were reasonable, and having breakfast/lunch was never a disappointment.
Carolina Cafe is a gem of a restaurant tucked away in Reidsville’s downtown district. I don’t typically seek out “country cooking”, but Carolina Cafe has become a weekly spot for me (sometimes multiple trips). Catch the day’s special lunch offerings hand written on white boards (some rotating, homemade meatloaf on Tuesday is my favorite), or order all-day-breakfast and other typical eats off their menu. Food is cooked to order, the side options are plentiful and not to be missed. The main cook (Gene) keeps orders moving quickly, and waitresses are a treat (friendly, fun, consistent, and quickly remember regular’s orders).
Do note that they’re breakfast and lunch only (close at 2:00 on weekdays, 11am on Saturday, and closed Sunday). They’re typically packed (for good reason) and seating is limited (booths seat four or sit at the large bar). Also, the delicious lunch specials/sides can run out if you don’t get there early enough.
I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal or service at Carolina and it has become my favorite restaurant in Reidsville.
Take me back to Carolina Cafe!

Absolutely one of the best breakfast restaurants! Food is great. Amazingly fair prices. A good old fashioned family place. Worth going out of your way to try. I look forward to visiting again soon.

If you are in Reidsville and are looking for a breakfast spot, then look no further than Carolina Cafe. Reid’s House has fallen apart. Farmer’s Table isn’t open on the weekend. Face it, Sanitary Cafe has always been a little sketch. Carolina Cafe outshines then all, except in the space category. It is a small restaurant, so it can get cramped inside. However, the size and lay out adds to its charm.
