I recently stopped by Carolina Ale House and tried a few different dishes, and overall the food was impressive.
We started with the dry rub wings, which had a really good flavor and a nice crunch. The seasoning was on point, and the wings were cooked just right.
The Melty Meatball Pasta was a standout — the marinara sauce was thick but not overly heavy, and you could really taste the seasoning. The cheese was melted perfectly, bringing the whole dish together.
The chicken alfredo was consistent and tasty. The sauce was a little on the runny side, but the flavor was still solid and the pasta was cooked well.
All in all, it was a great visit with flavorful food and satisfying portions. Would definitely come back to try more!

I visited Carolina Ale today for my 54th birthday . The food was delicious and I tried a new menu item called Lemon Chicken Pasta, my godson ordered The Varsity Cheeseburger , my daughter ordered Honey Chicken wings, hub Ron ordered Hot Honey Sausage & Peppers, and my daughter’s cousin ordered Pub Burger without the bun. We also order some Starters: Buffalo Chicken Dip and Artisan 5-Cheese Dip, and dessert: the Macked Out Doughnuts.

My granddaughter loves the vegan chicken sandwich. I on the other hand order the kids cheeseburger with mayo n mustard and do not get it. The bun is dry and toasted. The burger is itself is ok. And I love the fries after I put salt on them. I will not be ordering it again.

Always fast and friendly service from Virginia. She greets you right away and sets you up with your cold beverage of choice. She makes sure you are fed and always knows the menu with the most recent seasonal choices. I am comfortable coming here just for a meal by myself after a busy day, and always know I will have amazing service and great food at her bar.

Walking in felt like a throwback to the Carolina Alehouse I grew up going to in South Florida — same energy, same buzz, same “this is the spot” vibe.
I went with the buffalo chicken finger wrap. Crispy fried tenders with legit heat, wrapped up right, not soggy, not sloppy. Fries were hot and salty like they’re supposed to be. Blue cheese on the side — because that’s the only right answer with buffalo — and it hit every time.
Abria was the real MVP. She ran the table like a pro — drinks never empty, food came out fast, and she had that effortless, good energy that makes you want to stay for another round. You can tell she takes pride in what she does.
Good food. Great service. Instant nostalgia.

As a parent, I am very upset about the experience my daughter and her cousins had last night at Carolina Ale House with the waitress by the name of Monica B. Monica was adding extra things on their tab that they never ordered! And she refused to allow them to see their receipts when confronted by how high their bills were! One of the cousins asked to see the manager and that’s the only way it was corrected. Monica tried to charge some of them double gratuity, 18% AND 20% on the same receipt. Monica seen a table of young people and tried to get over on them and pocket more money. That’s stealing! But where she messed up the most, is when she added vodka on my 16 year old daughter’s tab… A MINOR! Again, she didn’t allow them to get their receipts until the manager got involved. I called and spoke with a supervisor by the name of Darrell. He was apologetic however, Monica B is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Too busy trying to take money that you added vodka on a minor’s bill! NO ONE AT THE TABLE ORDERED VODKA! I need someone from the corporate office to please contact me. Thank you

Me and my husband went to Carolina ale house after a day of shopping. Jereline was great and attentive! To be honest, one of the best servers I’ve personally ever had. She was patient, never rushed us, gave us space, and was present. I hope to see her again if we decide to go back. The burger was great and huge. Definitely not for the little mouths but nevertheless, it was delicious. The fries, the virgin piña colada drink, and the atmosphere were all a nice touch. Thank you for giving me and my husband a wonderful date. It wasn’t packed and we sat outside enjoying the breeze. 10/10

RAW burger. I am going to hospital for FOOD POISONING. I called the manager and he laughed when I mentioned taking this restaurant to small claims for serving me raw meat. He literally laughed on the phone!! I asked what’s so funny? He said there’s nothing he can do but re make the burger. I said talking to your cook isn’t an option? I was served a PINK burger when I requested well done. After I leave the hospital I am taking this company to small claims. I will be calling the county health department and reporting this also. Ridiculous. They are going to pay. Mind you, I just left the ER for allergic reactions a few weeks ago, crazy you’re putting customers at risk either way poor health safety and poor customer service. I am not letting up on this, especially because the manager laughed in my face. I called 12:13am 12/21/2025. You guys will be in contact with me and will be served.

I don’t give five stars very often but our waiter “Carlos” was the most honest server I have ever had. I asked him what was good and he gave me two recommendations based on his taste. I choose one of his suggestions and they were very good. But don’t make the same mistake I did. I ordered the island tacos and should have gotten the fish grilled not deep fried. So my suggestion would be grilled fish and more mango. But they were very good. My husband ordered the wings extra Crispy and he was shocked they were spot on. Said they were the best he has ever had. That says a lot. I would recommend this place for anyone visiting. Plus they close at 2 am.

Food was mid and not very well made. The beer was not tasting like a normal blue moon. Honestly very disappointed. They didn’t have anything we originally ordered. We tried to get a local bear and Jameson Blueberry Smash with a simple nachos. No beer, no Jameson and no chicken for the nachos. Had to pay extra for steak on nachos even though they had nothing else. Only save is the server was very nice now waited 30 minutes for a check.
