had Venezuelan cuisine before and did not know what to expect. We could not have been more pleased. The food was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The owners, Las Carolinas, were delightful, professional and incredibly patient and accommodating when we had a few set-up snafus. We will definitely be using their catering services again and would highly recommend them!

Whenever I put on an event, I always use Carolicious. They’re affordable, dependable, consistent, and punctual. Most importantly, the food is delicious! Located just inside the semi-circle of Bow Market, Carolicious Gourmet is a great spot to grab a Venezuelan snack and hang out in the courtyard with friends. They offer vegan arepas as well as more-traditional styles; the veggie arepa with chickpeas, mushrooms, and a hearty dose of sauce. Decent, but was more puck-shaped and dense as opposed to fluffy.

I can’t say enough good things about Carolicious Gourmet! I am a frequent customer due to both the high quality of the food and the excellent customer service. I also recently attended a private party, which was an amazing event! The tequeños were cheesy and delicious, and they provided various kinds of mini arepas. Their arepas are always tasty, and the mini arepas, were such a cute take on the classic. Both at the party and in the restaurant, I am impressed at the wonderful veggie and vegan options available. I am a long-time vegetarian, and I highly recommend the pabellon veggie arepas. The beans, cheese, plantains, and their signature basil sauce make a fantastic combination. You can also make the arepas vegan, and they are very accommodating with substitutions. Carolicious Gourmet offers authentic Venezuelan food that simply cannot be missed. You will not be disappointed!
