5 Stars – A Hidden Gem of a Diner!
I stumbled across this diner by chance, and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The staff is incredibly welcoming, treating everyone like a regular—even if it’s your first time. The interior has that classic diner charm: cozy booths, and just the right amount of nostalgia.
As for the food? Absolutely delicious. I ordered the classic bacon and eggs with a side of pancakes, and everything was cooked to perfection. The coffee was hot, strong, and constantly refilled—just how it should be. They clearly take pride in their cooking and service.
Prices are reasonable, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is relaxed. It’s the kind of place where you can linger over breakfast or swing by for a quick bite and a smile. I’ll definitely be coming back—and bringing friends next time!

Food came out quickly. I was there at 1pm and ordered breakfast, ham and cheese omelet. There was very little ham and a lot of cheese, good flavor, personally I would have like less cheese and more ham. Hash brown were cooked perfectly.
I was welcomed by the staff, I ordered coffee and my cup was never empty, staff was very attentive, and checked on me.

I’ll have to be honest I haven’t ventured off of the menu much other than my favorite- eggs over medium and corned beef hash. The corned beef hash here is to die for and they get my eggs, exactly perfect every time. Someday I promise I will try something else off the menu.But first I need to get sick of the corned beef hash

I had their half a sandwich and a bowl of soup. Their portions are still big. The soup was delicious and so was the sandwich. The service was fast and friendly. Look forward to eating there regularly and the price is great.

Picked up the smelt deal on Friday for a couple older lady’s for Valentine’s dinner , there smelt was the same price the cod and perch which was 17.99 , there we 8 small smelt and some of the smelt we so hard they could not even eat them , was not happy as I picked them up for those 2 older woman and I seen what they got for 17.99 I could not believe it , allmost 40 dollars they spent ,

Coming back from a vacation or a long weekend up in Casevill or Sebewaing you sometimes pack up early and get on the road as soon as possible. About an hour or so you get hungry, were can you get some quality food and service? Caro State Street Dinner. Nothing Earth shattering, just good food and great service. We will be back.
