Stopped in for lunch today in Moorpark and I was pleasantly surprised. This place specializes in carnitas burritos and tacos, so I ordered two carnitas tacos and they were seriously tasty. The tortillas were excellent, the portion sizes were huge, and everything tasted fresh.
The restaurant itself was also very clean and well kept, which I really appreciate. Even though I didn’t take any pictures, this spot is 100% worth checking out if you’re in Moorpark and craving a good carnitas taco.
This was my first time here, but definitely not my last — highly recommend. I’ll be back soon!

Basically American food disguised as Mexican. No seasoning on the Carnitas . It’s the seasoning that makes it Carnitas, hello. Not boiled pork. Salsa was very weak. WOW IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY. I BROUGHT MY COWORKERS HERE FOR LUNCH ONE DAY AFTER WORK. THE LINE WAS OUT THE DOOR MAJORITY WERE TO GO ORDERS. WE ORDERED CARNITAS, BUCHE, HAND MADE TORTILLAS AND CUERITOS. Overall good experience. I recommend eating the tacos in the restaurant or in your car because the tortillas will get soggy quick. The beans did lack flavor but the tacos made up for it. You’re not going for the beans anyways. Although the sided came in small containers the tacos were filling enough to make up for it. Below are some pros and cons.
