If you are looking for an excellent place to have Mexican Style food with a homemade taste? Artisan style decor and atmosphere? I recommend Carnitas El Taste! This time I tried a plate of Carnitas and they were yummy! The place is exceptional inviting with plenty of room. The service is professional and they have an excellent sense of humor! It is true, is not a fast-food restaurant. I did not wait too long for the plate and drinks arrived to our table. The salsa and chips are served while you wait for your food. Come and visit!

Empty restaurant >one couple there. We wanted to try this place for a few years and did. When we first sat down we were offered chips and salsa which we said yes. Nice right? My husband ordered muendo which he said had no flavor he explained to waitress and she should have apologized and and offered a different menu item. The cook came out and said she didn’t make the muendo and it that is prepared in the morning. I have never been charged a bowl of chips and a watered down salsa!! Will never return there.

Arrived, took 5 minutes for someone to appear after we seated ourselves. Waitress brought 3 small dishes; shredded cabbage, sliced lemons and red water with a plastic spoon. We attempted to order chips and salsa; were informed ” we’re all out of chips, someone went to get some, but don’t know how long it will take for them to come back”. Did we want to order drinks? Decided we’d seen enough, would NOT recommend.

I just left from this place the last time I came here was a year ago had the same exact experience and things have not changed Carnitas were burnt customer service was horrible waitress needs to be train more properly. I’ll try them one year later see if anything ever changes. There’s a lot of restaurants being open that have better quality and better customer service this place needs to change fast before it starts losing its customers like it’s lost me.

Such a good place, it was a little chilly and the champurrado definitely hit the spot, it was the Mexican comfort food you crave after a long day. The place waa clean, the staff was great super attentive, and the food absolutely delicious, fresh handmade tortillas definitely topped everything off, will definitely visit this place again if I’m ever there again!

My band was in Yuma for the Midnight at the Oasis car show and were craving Mexican food for dinner. I chose this restaurant based on its ratings, and we were not disappointed.
We got there an hour before closing and were received with friendly, prompt service. I forget the name of the young lady who served us, but she had a great smile and demeanor.
The food is really great and you must try the homemade tortillas! I wish they had this great food in Burbank.

Honestly I feel like I found paradise. This place is not only authentic but is somehow fast? Like, there is literally a sign that says they are not fast. Anyway this place could be the best Mexican place here! No but seriously giving this place 5 stars is like giving yourself water is essential. We recently found this place and absolutely love it! They have the best tacos de cabeza I have ever had in my life. Also, every other dish we have tried there so far has been delicious. The watermelon margarita is really good and the service is great also.
