We were just passing by and decided to stop and check it out. Never been here before. Holy cow are we happy! Home made chips and salsa. And we were full before we finished our meal. So much for the money. It’s worth the drive.

Delicious. We had low expectations, but we’re truly surprised!!! The tamales were amazing They tasted amazing. Best tamales I’ve had. The beans were just like regular beans but better and the rice was well, rice :). The carne asada was delicious and really made our day. The only drawback is that the place feels over decorated but that doesn’t really matter because when you eat you should focus on the people that you are eating with. People are nice if I could rate the atmosphere 4.5 I would but whatever.

The place is far from being a flashy front nothing in, it is the complete opposite, you don’t knpw where you’re going, you hit that place, nothing big or to impress on the looks, but the food is really good and definately worth the detour.

We found this restaurant during our cabin trip and it’s a hidden gem. I love their steak tacos so much. Everyone was very friendly and extremely nice. We wanted tamales to bring home and they were able to make the fresh ones for us. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
