Wow that was great. Carnitas are a heavy brunch but you got to go with the speciality of the house and when you got a rarity like a pombažo, you’d be a fool to pass it up, that beautiful hybrid of taco/sandwich/pižža. The Ant got carnitas tacos. The cucumber Limon agua fresca was super good. People were great and flags were cool

Food was good but the tortas I got was pastor I think and tinga, pastor one could have used more meat it was pretty much half empty. The tinga one was more full.
This time they had way more options on snacks and services and Mexican goodies.
They did forget to add my two drinks but wasn’t charged and I was to far gone to turn around just for two drinks. Also says in menu it comes with cilantro n onions well got home and there was none but we did get tons of tortillas perfect for a growing fam of 4 our teens ate a lot! And they are very picky! We got 3lbs of 2 diff meats and 2 tortas was around $82.00

I decided to try this place for the first time I drove a little more than an hour and was very disappointed. We order the lb of carnitas plate the server set it on the table and left didn’t ask anything like at all about 7-9 min she came back with our drinks so I ask for extra plates I was still missing my daughter quesadilla. The tortillas were not hot just warm by the time she came back with the plates the tortillas were already cold the carnitas were warm/cold. Waters were good. Service was very bad the waiter did not came back not ONE time to the table to check if we needed anything at all. When I payed I check the NO TIP button she charged me $60 and some change for 1lb carnitas plate 2 waters 1 juice 1 jarrito and one quesadilla. I didn’t look at the receipt until I got home an hour away lol and I’m seeing my total was $48.96 +4 tax. But somehow she added cause like I said I press the NO TIP button she added 15% for tips smh which was $7.34!! So that’s how I ended up paying $60.30. I’m just not too happy about her taking a tip without MY knowledge without MY consent that I clearly was NOT going to leave and was not deserved at all. I honestly recommend that if you decide to go this place (I wouldn’t) do not expect good service and make sure your food is warm/hot enough to eat and ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPT. I will NEVER go back to this place waste of my time, gas and money!

Very delicious restaurant! Highly recommend the Limonada to drink. Carnitas tortas, sopes, etc. chopped onions with seasoning on the side. Bring cash so you can tip plenty and not be charged a fee for using card. Excellent customer service and friendly. Great to eat in or take out. Thank you!

Great spot! Was heading out of Austin and just spotted it. My study abroad Spanish is mediocre but was enough to get me an order here but like others say, just use google translate. Trust me, you dont want to miss this food. I got the 1lb of carnitas which comes with corn tortillas and toppings, good salsa too. Definitely worth giving a shot. Enjoy!

driving from Austin to Houston on 71, and stumbled upon this. I saw it on road up to Austin and thought I’d have lunch there. Very authentic carnitas and other Mexican food. salsas are excellent. friendly service, reasonable prices for the food. I had mixed carnitas and it was like $12 for a half pound. my daughter had a quesadilla al pastor (delicious) that was huge and it was $8. We spend a lot of time in Mexico, and this place rocks for carnitas.

Wonderful carnitas, done properly fried in lard. Can’t go wrong here. Be sure to get some of the skin, it’s a delicious texture. I got a pound of carnitas with all the fixings for take out and it would comfortably feed two people.

Expensive. The crema they used for the gorditas was spoiled and tasted like rotten milk. Not once did they check on us for refills or anything. I got home and diarrhea hit. Not going back.
