This place is a restaurant and a grocery store. There’s quite a few tables for dining. All the staff were very friendly and inviting. All the food we tried was amazing. We had a birria taco made with goat meat, which is very traditional. I’ve had a lot of variety tacos, never have the opportunity to have it made with goat meat. Most places use beef. My daughter had the carnitas platter, which consisted of carnitas, beans and rice, and tortillas. I had the asada platter which was steak, beans and rice, and tortillas. All the food was cooked perfectly. And looked beautiful upon presentation.

Y’all! I am so blessed! This place is just a couple blocks from home. So glad I finally popped in here on a whim!

If you cook, you’ll love the grocery section. Great selection great prices! I stocked my pantry with some Mexican staples.

Every dried pepper you can think of, great selection of beans and salsas, spices like achiote and all the aromatics! Plus a meat market full of non and pre marinated meats, and lots of produce!

If you want someone else to do the cooking, they have amazing food to order! Check out that menu in the pics! Legit! Delicious! Affordable! By the time I finished shopping for the staples, I was so hungry I ordered a quesabirria and sopes to go!

Service was great! Friendly and warm!

I absolutely love this shop! It’s my favorite place to grab fresh produce when I want to make homemade salsa OR purchase theirs! Their huge bag of tortilla chips is $4.99. The customer service is fantastic. I love their variety. I ate there awhile back and had no complaints also

An absolute first class Mexican grocery store. Produce and meats were phenomenal. The restaurant is cute and basic. The food is good, beans and rice were a little dry but the meats were fantastic and some of the best corn tortillas I have ever had. A great selection of everything in the store. Definitely worth a visit.

Tried this place tonight. We moved here recently and we’re looking for a New Mexican place near us. I was VERY PLEASED with the service, quality, flavor and how nice the staff are. I don’t speak any Spanish, and the women were still able to help me get exactly what I wanted. I will DEFINITELY have this as my go to place from now on. Also, a huge meat selection, and tons of hot sauces. They do to-go orders, and also have a dine in area.

Finally they are open!!! I was so excited finally there’s a great Mexican store with a wide variety of groceries, meat, cheeses, salsas, cooked ready to go meals(Birria, pozole, beans, rice).

I haven’t tried the restaurant yet but will update when i do. Update 2/19 had chorizo breakfast burrito it was Big had a genourus amount of filling, i give it 3 stars only because it could use more seasoning (salt) but it was good.

Everyone was really nice and friendly (carnicero, cook, cashier)
Fruit and veggies are fresh. Highly recommend it, the only place I’ll be shopping at for Mexican food needs

This place was absolutely amazing. It is authentic and so tasty. It reminds me of new Mexican, Mexican food or what my Spanish grandma used to make. The red chili is not super spicy, so it is good for people with more sensitive palettes. They give you salsas of all varieties to spice things up for the people that like that spice. The people were friendly and had English speaking employees as well as Spanish. I was really happy about this because I have neglected to learn the language even though half my family is Spanish. The carne asada and carnitas were spiced to perfection. They have menudo that brought happy tears to my eyes. I haven’t tasted menudo that good for more than five years. I can’t wait to go back to try the birria. I did order it this time but they did not hear me. I was not even disappointed because it was just THAT good. Don’t let the atmosphere trick you. It is a little plain and deserted in the restaurant area. my mom wanted to leave by the look of it, but I know good authentic food comes from places like that. I hope this place continues to make food this delicious and does well.

I love the arrachera marinada. So tasty. The carniceria has great meat. Also lots of fresh produce and homemade salsas and pico. Every time I’m in, I grab a couple of tacos for a snack. The attached picture is a meal made completely from mi tierra.
