Highly recommended, one of my favorite places for Mexican food, offers daily specials. Doesn’t look much from the outside but plenty to offer, taste, selection & etc

Love coming here to eat their chicken that they prepare here. It has good flavor and it is served hot. Parking is a haggle if you want to get off at the front of the store but there’s more in the back of the store. The eating area is small but it makes do.

Place needs a good deep clean. Ordered some tacos but not impressed. Flavorless & the salsa was too. Cheap enough thought but I don’t think I’ll be returning. There’s plenty of other good tacos places near by.

I pass by this place every Sunday, Wednesday and Friday, but I’ve never stopped by. After 4 years, I finally did and was not impressed. I got there at 9:20. They close at 10. And the lady that was there was rude, she obviously wanted me out the door and wasn’t a bit shy about letting me know. She said I could only order to go and when I asked if I could have a little bit more cilantro, she barked that I had enough, took the bag from my hand and opened it in front of me to show me. The carnitas were pale and choppy not shredded and toasty. She also put 1 tortiya and putting my hot sauce in a baggie seems gross to me.

Update: Sadly, I have to update this negatively. My wife and I went back again. Same cashier and cooks as last time. While they were friendly and helpful last time, this time, the language barrier proved to be a bit much. My wife is Cuban and while she doesn’t speak fluent Spanish, she understands quite a bit. She was attempting to order and the cashier got frustrated and called my wife names in Spanish. She was called a Dumb White B***h. They also tried to prevent us from taking any cilantro/lime/onions from the salsa bar even though we placed a sizeable order for tacos, beans & rice, tortillas, and over a pound of carnitas. The food is good, but fluent Spanish will help.
Original Review: My wife and I passed this place while saying every time that we’re going to try it some day. Today was that day. Where do I begin?!
For starters, the smell alone is just worth driving near here. It always smells delicious. So our stomachs made us stop. We were elated with what we found!
Tacos, quesadillas, burritos (even wet burritos), tortas, rice and beans, you name it, it’s there. They have a glass case that shows you some of their meats with how much per pound it costs. It reminds me of something along the lines of a Mall Food Court where you can get a massive amount stuffed into a foam takeout container.
The tacos were excellently priced, only $1 each. It’s just a corn tortilla with the meat. I got the lengua (tongue) and carne asada. Now, I know that many people don’t like the idea of eating tongue, but I was raised to try everything at least once. I had always heard that it was like the “best pot roast you’ve never tried.” Recently, I’ve been trying it at various taquerias. This by a long shot is the most tender and flavorful lengua I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. My only disappointment is that I only ordered one. The carne asada was also quite delicious.
While I mentioned that the tacos are just the tortilla and meat, they have an excellent little bar off to the side. Limes, pico de gallo, onions, cilantro, salsa verde, salsa, radishes, and more were there free of charge. Some places have pico de gallo that just tastes like tomatoes, but not here. It was delicious.
They have some homemade mango drink that I didn’t get to try, but they have an assortment of Jarritos (I got my favorite, grapefruit), Coke, and even a few Mexican beers.
Even though it’s a tiny place, they even had shelves of Mexican grocery items you could get as well.
So, TL;DR, do yourself a favor and eat here if you like tacos or real Mexican food.

The food flavor is so so but the place looks so dirty that I can’t help but think that food preparation is also unhygienic. Tbh I am not coming back
