I had the Cucumber Fresh mocktail and it was delicious. My brother ordered the Bee-Hind mocktail, which was on the sweeter side but not overly sweet. My boyfriend had the Redfreshment—it was a bit bitter, but I actually liked that since I enjoy bitter flavors.
For food, I ordered the Southern chicken and waffles, and that was the best decision. I loved that the chicken was in strips. My only complaint was the service: the waiters gave us plenty of space, which is nice, but they didn’t really check in on us as often as I would’ve liked.
The atmosphere was comfy and cute. Overall, I’d give this restaurant a 4/5.
The buttermilk pancakes were incredibly fluffy and honestly some of the best I’ve had. They even treated us to traditional Greek desserts like portokalopita, which was such a thoughtful and delicious surprise.
Everything about it was just really well done. Definitely coming back. Thanks for having us!
The customer service was excellent too friendly, fast, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of place that makes you feel comfortable whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or relaxing after exploring the city.
Another big bonus: it’s perfectly located across the street from Carnegie Hall and just minutes from Central Park, making it a perfect stop while exploring Manhattan.
Great food, great atmosphere, and great service.
• Had a delicious corner burger and hands down the best chocolate cake ever
• I prefer more pepper, so I seasoned my patty a bit more, but overall a very solid meal
• Fries were cooked perfectly
• The staff surprised me with their famous 24-layer cake, and it truly lives up to the hype — rich, decadent, and addicting
• Reserved online a day in advance, which I highly recommend as the place gets busy
• Staff were attentive and very kind; the manager was especially accommodating
• Truly appreciated their sweet gesture that made my day extra beautiful
• Clean dining area and the perfect classic NYC diner experience
