⚪ The Yellowfin Tuna Tartare was refreshingly clean and bright on the palate, with a perfect balance of acidity and freshness — an excellent choice to start the meal.
The Whole Roast Duck d’Ivan arrived beautifully presented, generously portioned, with tender, juicy meat and crisp skin that brought rich aroma and flavor — perfect for sharing with your table.
The 8 oz Center-Cut Filet Mignon showcased superbly tender beef, and I absolutely loved the accompanying green sauce — likely a spinach-herb blend — which elevated the dish with vibrant savory notes.
The cocktails and beverage program also stood out — visually appealing and wonderfully balanced in flavor. That night happened to be my friend’s birthday, and we were surprised (and delighted) to see his name on the menu, which made the evening even more unforgettable . The service was exceptional throughout, making for a truly memorable night.
Overall, Carne Mare is a dining destination worth returning to, whether for celebrations, date nights, or special dinners with friends.
We stopped in just for appetizers and worked our way through the chophouse snacks. The oysters were exceptionally fresh, clean, and easily the highlight of the table. The house bread was a genuine surprise and far better than expected. The remaining snacks, crab, burrata, and mozzarella with caviar, felt like they were loaded with promise but landed just fine rather than memorable.
That said, this is a chophouse, and appetizers aren’t the reason you come here. Based on the room, the service, and the foundation they’ve built, I’m absolutely coming back to give the steaks their proper moment. I’m hopeful the main event delivers at the level the setting suggests.
It was very easy to get a table midweek evening.
First of all, the atmosphere is just gorgeous, tables have enough room to themselves, the view is very nice near the water, the lighting is right seats are comfortable music isnt overpowering
Love their selection of aperitifs
The food was very good. Steak was cooked perfectly that was rendered perfectly
Side dishes are very tasty I liked the broccolini and the Cacio E Pepe butternut squash that I got, it is very rich but good
Tuna tartare was excellent I love how this place can actually do both seafood and steak very well.
The only thing I’ll mention is that the bread just isn’t really good quite dry but who really cares, get other appetizers it doesn’t really matter.
Can’t wait to try more of their seafood and cuts of meat next time.
Carne Mare completely changed my mind. From the appetizers, all the way to the desserts everything was great. I could gush about each individual dish, but everyone is here for the steaks.
What sets this place apart from home cooking and other restaurants are the following:
The crust – unparalleled, crisp and flavorful.
The dry age – The Beef flavor concentrated to the max and the cuts are extremely tender
Right now, I use Carne Mare to compare the steaks of other restaurants I go to. Unfortunately, I’ve been leaving many establishments disappointed ever since.
