What a FANTASTIC gem in Fort Myers!
I met the owner in an event I participated in and he was selling his carne en vara (steak on wood skewer). As a Brazilian who loves bbq, I missed eating steak grilled over wood fire. The steak flavors are enhanced by the technique used and you just don’t want to stop eating.
The Food: I tried everything on the menu and it is hard to recommend one item. The famous Cachapas had a flavorful sweetness from the corn, and smokiness from grill. Highly recommend it. The meats were my favorite. I tried the platter that came with steak, pork, and sausage. All delicious. I took some soup home and was delighted by it. Great flavor combination. It goes best on a chill night.
The Service: The whole staff was very kind, attentive, and took great care of my wife and I.
The Atmosphere: Take your family there. Have a big day out. There’s plenty of open spaces for children. I kicked a football around with some kids there. It is a beautiful landscape to relax, eat great food, listen to music, and enjoy.

Good Latin option, but… expensive.
At 2:30 p.m., the plantains, cassava, and potatoes were undercooked. There was too much chorizo in the snack, and the cassava on the side was inedible.

1) The prices seem very high to me for the small amount of food they give. 2) I understand that it is outdoors but the amount of flies becomes a little uncomfortable when eating. 3) The meat was tasty but it was more the amount of fat than the same.
