They have a very interesting, unexpected menu; thats a compliment. Who would have thought a restaurant in Brighton, IL would have Chorizo breakfast burritos? Not me. And they were really good. My son got a quesadilla for breakfast, and said it was amazing. I was very impressed with the food; kind of an eclectic mix. The service was spot on. I just hope someone can make a restaurant work in the old Granny’s. Carmona’s has a great mix, let’s hope it sticks around, because it really does deserve to.

Nice, little, clean Cafe in Brighton, IL. The waitress was very nice and had a smile on her face. Everything came out in a timely manner. They even had REAL butter which put a smile on my face! The only thing that I didn’t like, and of course it is a matter of taste, the croutons were very hard and the mashed potatoes were lumpy. Overall, it was great and we would go back!

Traveling through the state and stopped for breakfast. We were greeted when we walked in and attended to promptly by Jessie. Service was top notch and still small town friendly. LOVE IT!
It’s rare that my scrambled eggs are cooked the way I ask them to be ( way overcooked so I get it) however they did exactly as I asked! Only one place in my hometown cooks my eggs “right” for me!

Clean place, clean bathroom and prices seemed very reasonable. If for some reason I come through Illinois again I’ll be sure to check to see if my route brings me back through.
