So I wanted to try this place because I asked my fellow neighbors on the next door app which pizza in the surrounding towns is the best. A LOT of them recommended this place!! It’s a pricey pizza, but it’s DAMN DELICIOUS. We ordered a large with black olives and half pepperoni. I hate the crust on pizzas and promise I -never- eat it, but I have to say… this.. was.. the BEST. Perfectly cooked. Whoever made the pizza yesterday evening (7/16/25) should make it all the time. Give that person a raise holy moly.. The olives were perfect. What brand are they?? The pepperoni was perfect. Crust -10/10. *chef kiss*. I WILL SPEND the money for this one!! Thank you!

Updated: Aye t̾e̾r̾p̾y̾fam ya guy has been pulling up to Carmy’s for a lonnnng ahh time and they used to be one of the best, if not the best pie in fairfield county….
but they have slowly downgraded over the years to where they are at now, not even the best pie in their own town.
I mean the flavors are still there and the quality of the cheese might not be what it was but man they got to get a better cook on the crust or something cuz the flop is brutal
And the consistency per slice is off. Overall its a high 6 when it used to be an easy 8 plus’r.

Skimp on bacon
Slightly disappointed – I’ve been going here for 20+ years, and their pizza is always top tier.
Recently however, when I order a 1/2 bacon pizza, it’ll clearly be less than 1/2 bacon. The 2nd time this happened I politely brought it up with the cashier, who bluntly told me i was wrong.

They have the best pizza and stuffed breads in the area. I have had their cheese pizza, pepperoni pizza and their broccoli and sausage stuffed breads, they were all made fresh and very delicious. They have several tables inside and a nice outside dining area but it is more of a “to go” type of place. Staff is friendly and the place is clean.

Went in for a slice since I was starving and had a long ride ahead of me. The place is tiny but the food was great. Everyone that came in was served quickly. It had a nice hometown feel “where everybody knows your name”. I got a cheese slice with sausage and pepperoni added. This was the BIGGEST slice I’ve ever had in my life. Too big to eat while driving, but still delicious and inexpensive for what it was. I’d def go back and order a whole pie next time.

I only had peperoni, but this is not gourmet pizza. This is comfort food at its best.
Nothing about it screamed at me, but it was perfect and what it was…a slice of NY style pizza. Greasy in all the right places. Nice thin crust. The sauce and cheese were banging. Cheesy and stringy goodness!
I HIGHLY recommend this place.

We’ve been patronizing Carminuccio’s since we moved to CT 15 years ago. Our favorite is the red pepper and sausage pizza and it has been consistently good! Just went tonight and enjoyed the pie and salad. Go check them out!
