Social Profile:

Established in 1982 by Carmine DeBernardo, Carmine’s Pizza has been a longtime staple for pizza in Far North Dallas and the Addison area. Originally from NY, Mr. DeBernardo brought traditional family recipes and perfected them for a picky Dallas crowd. Starting with hand-made pizza dough, carefully chosen and tested cheese blend, Marinara, and pizza sauces made from scratch with the perfect amount of spices, Mr. DeBernardo won the hearts and stomachs of many Texans and others in the area. The Carmine’s Pizza was and still is a favorite place to grab a slice of 22 pizza, eat a hand-made calzone or stromboli, spaghetti, sandwiches, or order something to-go or for delivery.

New York-style Italian joint serving pizza, calzones & other casual cooking for 30+ years.

Went here for the first time after seeing all the great reviews, and it did not disappoint. Ordered a large thin-crust New York style pizza with pepperoni, mushrooms, and anchovies; absolutely wonderful. The flavor and texture instantly reminded me of my university days in New York, which says a lot. Crispy, well-balanced, and satisfying. I’ll definitely be back to try different pizza combinations. Highly recommend.

We came in for a slice and were very satisfied. The first bite burnt the roof of my mouth but it was worth it crust is a hit or miss for me usually- this crust was perfection.
With the cash discount, two slices and a coke were $12. Excellent value

It’s been maybe nearly 40 years since I’ve been here. I stopped in for a couple of slices And it was like transporting me back in time. Pure Bliss in pizza form. I left with a sausage roll for my father. The look of surprise on his face was worth it. I’m happy this place is still here. There’s New York style pizza and then there’s New York Pizza.. This is New York Pizza!

We heard this is the best local or neighborhood restaurants in Texas, so of course we had to try it out when visiting Fort Worth! We love Neopolitan Style Pizza and they do an amazing job here! The crust holds up well with the perfect amount of chewiness. We chose to add mushrooms and Italian Sausage and it tasted great. The mushrooms packed a lot of flavor.

Also, I noticed they had Eggplant Parmagean, which is a childhood favorite and they didn’t disappoint. I liked they didn’t appear to bread the eggplant, but it was perfectly cooked and the tomato sauce made the dish. The dish is served with bread and butter, a small salad and a side of homemade spaghetti noodles with homemade sauce. It was a fantastic meal and easy on the budget.

We will definitely return and only wished we lived closer. My Italian grandfather would have loved this place! Definitely made me feel the love he shared through food.

This place should be listed as a national landmark. What a treasure. Just in the middle of an unassuming strip mall, but true Italian flavors. And run by some authentic old Italian guys. They are serving Italian foods beyond excellent pizza. The crust…OMG!

The Eggplant Parmigiana for instance. Good eggplant, not a lot of breading. And made fresh, not served from a buffet style pan cooked two days ago.

Very very good, authentic Italian food right here in North Dallas

Found this place after building an appetite at galleria mall. This pizza was so good I made my husband drive me here from Mesquite to eat it again. It’s so fresh, not too greasy, and perfect amount of cheese. Will be returning

You go to the counter to get your food, but it’s authentic and cozy. The atmosphere is quiet, unlike other places which makes you feel at home. It’s been running for at least 20 years considering my step-father came here 20 years ago, and it’s still a great spot to get delicious Italian pizza for cheap!

I had a lunch special here: a slice, salad, and drink for under $10. The salad was fresh with crisp lettuce and a great Caesar dressing. I ordered a meat lovers slice, and the crust was crispy with the perfect amount of sauce, cheese, and meat. It’s popular with return customers, so it’s clearly consistently good. Plus, I found a parking spot right in front.
