If you like grease then the pizza is for you. This was our first time and our last time we will order pizza from here. It is a cozy little place and the other foods may be better but I would not order pizza here. The crust was dripping with grease and soggy. Sorry folks, may stop back to try a different order someday.

I am absolutely blown away by how amazing the food and service were here.
Amy was our server. We sat at the bar. They had a decent selection of beer.
The best part about our experience though was the food. It was so delicious and the portions were very adequate. I am very picky, especially with Italian food. I have high standards. Carmines far exceeded these standards. My buddy Josh and I got Alfredo and Ravioli. Both dishes were amazing.
I cannot wait to get back to try more. Glad we stopped.

If you’re in the mood for a great hometown Italian dining experience, look no further than Carmine’s. This cozy spot delivers on both flavor and atmosphere, offering hearty portions, unique menu items, and that warm, local vibe that makes you feel right at home.
The food was excellent from start to finish. We started with the meatballs and ricotta appetizer, which was a standout. The contrast of the hot, savory meatballs and sauce paired with the chilled ricotta was surprisingly delicious—it was a unique twist that really worked.
For our main course, we shared a small cheese pizza topped with crumbled sausage. Despite being a “small,” it was more than enough, and they were very generous with the sausage, definitely no skimping here. Everything was fresh and flavorful. We couldn’t pass up Irma’s homemade chocolate peanut butter cake, we however had to take it home to enjoy later because we were already too full.
Our server, Pam, was fantastic. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out just right. It’s always a plus when the service matches the quality of the food.
Whether you’re a local who hasn’t tried it yet or you’re just passing through, I highly recommend making a stop at Carmine’s. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again.

Pizza was like eating spongy cardboard and the hoagie was no better. Way overpriced. Incredibly there are many 5 star reviews so they must have numb taste buds. Won’t waste my money here again. Every bit as bad as the chain pizza places. The reply I received from this place was expected. Instead of offering a full refund plus 50% an attempt to insult me failed. Fact is the Chain Pizza outlets serve up a far better product than this place at a far more reasonable price. Sulking and pouting because I did not provide the review you think you should receive only proves my point. There is no ‘next time’ as I am not in the habit of paying for food that ends up in the DUMPSTER! You must be jealous of FOX pizza.

Back on 9/21/24 we opted for Carmine’s Pizza & Pasta as it was the most suggested shop in the Latrobe area. We picked up an XL Pepperoni and Fresh Mushroom Pie and it was DELICIOUS! It was cooked to perfection! Loved the thicker cut pepperoni. The mushrooms were tasty. And the dough was fresh and held up well (minimal flop)! Our first time trying it & it won’t be the last!!! They cut all their pies in eight slices too! Finally, the staff was VERY friendly!!!

Pizza=amazing. You can tell they hand toss the dough! Waited to post until I tried the leftovers as well, also amazing. Hard to find a pizza place around here with good dough! The salad was pretty good, I 86’d beets because I hate them and didn’t realize they put noodles on them. No biggie I picked them off but the thing you need to know is it tastes fresh and a nice portion. 10/10 will order again with toppings next time.

Honestly, this was one of the best pizza places I’ve been to in my 62 years, and I’ve been to a lot of places! Hubby had a hot sausage sub, son had a calzone, I ordered a pizza. We sampled each others food and all three items were delicious. The servings were huge!!!!!! We went here for son’s birthday and we will go here for my birthday at the end of this month. Not living closer is my only disappointment!!! Can’t say enough about this place. Everyone should try this place out.
