The staff were super friendly. Vibes were nice and chill. I ordered the baked chicken parm and it was delicious. Kitchen does close at 9pm.

This was our first dinning experience at Carmines and the food and our server Angela did not disappoint. Angela, started with a warm greeting. Then asked if we had ever been there before. Once she found out it was our first time she explained the specials and even let us know of her personal favorites. We got the Cajun shrimp appetizer. I ordered the steak special and it was cooked perfect. My husband ordered Chicken Marsala and it was delightful. We ate at leisure and enjoyed every moment. We are looking forward to more memorable meals and excellent service.

I am writing in to personally combat the latest review by Jeff Weiss. I was sitting at the bar when this weirdo called. Jimmy, the chef, was certainly not a “jerk” and spent over 3 minutes on the phone with this guy on this busy Friday night. Apparently he was calling to complain about the portion of fish – to which Jimmy calmly explained that the portion weight is the same as before, just different size. The guy began throwing out insulting remarks and demanded that he better do something because he’s the customer. I heard the entire conversation. This guy is clearly a Northstar customer looking to stir up trouble. I am so sick of this “community” that goes around trashing businesses when they don’t get their way.
The food here is excellent, and it’s not the chef’s fault that some random customer is pissed off about something he clearly doesn’t understand.
It is a shame that anyone would come onto a small businesses page, much less a restaurant who has unendingly supported their staff and kept the lights on throughout the years – I am so disappointed. Jimmy cares about his customers and his staff, considering them his second family. He’s a great guy and the rap he’s getting online is utter BS. And you all know it.
I hope more people will decide to speak up and leave the reviews this place and Jimmy, who works tirelessly, deserves.

Fun atmosphere, great service and food was fantastic!! The Italian cheese fries and full of flavors and the chicken filet sandwich and onion rings were great!! Crispy chicken sandwich is good too! The wings aren’t the best…they are the large wing and I find those hard to eat. The Buffalo sauce was sweet tasting. Very large servings!! And they have pulltabs!!

Beware. Their menu says one thing, but they give you about half of what is advertised. I called to complain and talked to an owner (Jimmy). He complained that I called on a Friday night when he was busy and then hung up on me. What a jerk. He clearly doesn’t care about the customer experience. Will spend my money at Northstar instead.

Really nice Italian spot. We did take out it was quick and fresh. Wings were huge. The Italian Nachos are to die for. Very creative and really god couldn’t stop eating. The calamari taste like home. Brought memories of back in Delaware at Mario’s Italian Restaurant with Biden sharing some good times and talking about what college I was going to go to. I will becoming by again. Great food, can’t wait to try other dishes.

When I recently visited home we chose to have dinner at Carmine’s. It was not there the last time I was home so I was excited to try it! When we went it was not busy at all and I’m certain it’s not always like that, because the service and food were excellent! I ordered the Steak Sierra and it was delicious and everything came out fast and accurate. We will visit again!

Went here on our babymoon over the weekend! Overall good experience, everyone was super nice and good vibes. Food was good. Only odd thing is they charged $3 to add a slice of tomato and onion to my sandwich. I love veggies so I always ask to add a garden which is usually no problem, not a big up charge if any so we were shocked to see $3 added to our bill when we went to pay and they didn’t even warn us prior. Definitely not an huge deal to us like it could be for others but being up front about it would be nice. Overall good, just not the place to make changes to meals or expect a cost.

Shout out to Carmine’s waitress, Leigh Ann, who remembered our group even though we hadn’t been in all summer, remembered I like my water with no ice, remembered I have celiac disease and can’t have croutons or onion on my salad. But the best was when she had given the others in our group their food and announced she was going to go wash her hands before making my salad. That made me feel safe as someone who is always concerned about cross contact in restaurants.
