Honestly really good. There are some unique menu items like the carnitas fries that are to die for. The crispy chili relleno was decent and their salsa is top notch. I went here about 15 years ago and the quality was similar, great job.

We had a Delux Cheeseburger and a Grilled Chili Cheeseburger with fries. The service was good, waitresses were very kind and friendly but the burgers were not the best. Beef patty was overcooked almost burnt and hamburger was dry.

their green Chile is so good! I ordered a bean cheese potato burrito. it came smothered and was so delicious. my partner ordered the Mexican hamburger and he couldn’t use words he just kissed his fingertips! service was excellent. salsa was super great also! definitely recommend if you’re in las animas!

This is basically the only place to eat in town, so they have no reason to step up the quality because there is no competition.
Food is edible and service is good. They have a full bar, but no bar to sit at.

They serve a few breakfast plates, but don’t open until 11. Sooo… It’s lunch, not breakfast. Eggs were burnt and bland.
They don’t have queso!!
Only 2 kinds of sauce..red and green. They taste exactly the same and are not spicy.
Tried a chille rellano… Hardly any filling and surrounded by way too much baked wheat bread.
Chips are kind of stale.
Enchiladas are dry and bland.

One of best and most authentic in the whole Colorado. Carmen has been serving my father’s side of the family for years now, they cater all our gatherings and funerals, everything is always muy bueno!!! Every time I’m in las animas I stop and get pints of their green chili, it’s the best green chili I’ve ever had!!!!!

Just happened to be in the area. Stopped by, met by friendly staff, and had a good lunch. On a personal note this a advantage of a small town. You have a local restaurant that the locals like.

Great service, a good place to meet friends. We like the food and like to ask for the spicy dip to go with the complimentary chips.
