This venue was ok… tucked back into an old empty plaza.
Customer service was great! I got to visit with Carmen for a few minutes and hear her story… if you are in the area you have to stop by, what a great story of motivation!
As an Ice Cream Expert that travels the country looking for good ice cream I can say the flavors were unique. Some of the flavors were a little icy so it threw the creaminess off. Mamey was very good and balanced well.
Strawberry Cheesecake was really good!
The waffle cone was good and had a great taste! Some of the cone was super hard (most was right on).

This is the best local spot for ice cream — cozy, clean, and welcoming. I really love coming here and encourage everyone to support them. My boys always go for the chocolate, while I struggle to choose from all the delicious flavors they offer. The staff is always friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The portions are generous, and everything tastes fresh and high-quality. It’s a perfect place to treat yourself or bring the family for a sweet outing.

This place was awesome! Highly recommended! The pine nut, coconut, avocado, sweet corn, mango chili, pecan, sorbets, chocolate, vanilla, Oreo were all awesome the ice cream is home made and the store is super clean. We didn’t have room for the popsicles but they looked amazing. Friendly and accommodating of our large family visit toward the end of the night.

DELICIOUS! Homemade, natural and good quality ice cream! We were visiting from South FL and checkout this ice cream shop. We ordered 6 flavors and all were SO good! Nice flavors, nothing gross or artificial and the staff is so nice.

This was our first visit to this hidden gem and what wonderful flavors unique to traditional ice cream shops. They make all of the ice creams and popsicles or bars in house. Some of the unique flavors of ice cream are avocado, spicy pineapple, spicy mango and sweet corn. They also have a wide selection of typical flavors of ice cream and sorbets to choose from like coffee, chocolate, cookies and cream, mint chocolate chip, strawberry sorbet etc. the cafe is fairly small with 3 tables and 2 high tables. Prices are nice with one scoop fir$2.35, 2 scoops for $4.25, shakes $4.99 and popsicles are $2.35 – $2.85. Carmen’s is located next door to the movie theater and I know we will be coming back to enjoy more of these wonderful flavors and popsicles.
Tonight we ordered a strawberry ice cream popsicle covered in chocolate and rolled in peanuts, a scoop of Strawberry Sorbet and a scoop of Avocado ice cream and a cup with a scoop of coffee and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. The Avocado ice cream had a mild creamy flavor and was very nice. The strawberry sorbet was a great full flavor strawberry. The coffee ice cream has a very nice and pronounced flavor and it married well with the full flavor chocolate. Tonight they had 24 flavors of ice cream and quite a few flavors of popsicles giving us quite a few visits to sample everything.
We definitely recommend a visit to Carmen’s Homemade Ice Cream.
