This was excellent. It is worth every penny! I had the gazpacho, duck, and a Port flight for my meal. I had a glass of Quinta Chocapalha for my wine. There are a number of items on the menu, so you can come here with nearly anyone and they are able to find something they will enjoy. I also enjoyed the service. All employees work together making a team effort meaning it is easier to be served.

My husband and I went here last night for our first date night in months and had a spectacular time! Our waiter, Stephen/Steven, was friendly and fast with service, and the food was delicious. My husband rarely finishes his appetizers and finished his entire bowl of soup (bisque de camarao)! I got the beet salad and vegetarian lasagna and thoroughly enjoyed both. We “split” a crème brûlée (he had a bite) for dessert. We had a great time and would love to go back for future romantic outings!

Took my wife here for our anniversary and the service was top notch. They gave us complimentary wine and dessert which we truly appreciated. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a great and special experience. One of the best restaurants in Old Town Manassas!

Old Town Manassas is Magical in December and Carmello’s is so romantic. High end dining. Although our choice of wine was not in stock, our server was quick to offer a similar selection. The Calamari appetizer was delish. My meal was to have lobster and scallops, but, salmon was substituted without telling me. Honestly, I didn’t care because it was romantic and lovely. Perfect atmosphere for romantic dates, special anniversaries and rehearsal dinners.

My husband took me to Carmello’s of Old Town Manassas for our wedding anniversary for the first time. This place was delicious… we got a pitcher of sangria not my favorite but it was okay. The 2 appetizers we got were out of this world good… we got Vieiras Saltead con Cogumelos and Picadas de Bife. For our entrees we got the Paelha Valenciana no Forno which was okay very fishy taste and rice was still watery but the Costelao de Vaca was amazingly delicious. The crème brûlée was delicious but was talking to another guest whom said that their tiramisu is a lot better that’s what I will be trying next time. Our serve Steven was amazing he was very attentive and recommend our appetizers and Costelao de Vaca there was definitely no complaints about those items. Definitely will be going back and taking friend with us.

Came here for the first time for New Year’s Eve. The food was decent but the service was terrible. We came for a 6:30pm dinner and it took almost two hours for the 2 of us to eat. The server didn’t let us know there were any specials, and at one point there wasn’t a single server to be found on the floor of the restaurant. It was a bit disappointing because we had heard good things, but the food just being “ok” definitely didn’t make up for the other issues. We likely won’t return.
