Carly’s Healthy Cuisine is an Asian style restaurant atop an Ozark slope just off of Main St in the historic downtown of Branson, Missouri. If you’re near Branson Landing, you’re only a few blocks away, and I recommend you visit this spot. It’s family owned, and its name likeness, Carly, will probably greet you as you’re seated.

The dining area is clean and comfortable. However, I must say that the booths are smaller than some other booths. They seat four comfortably.

Y’all already know that I checked out the restroom and it was clean with plenty of soap and paper towels. It was ventilated well and operates from the light swith. The lighting could be a little brighter, but not really an issue, but my preference.

The staff was friendly and accommodating. They have menus available, or if you’re like me, you’ve already pulled it up on your electronic device.

Our order included Stir Fry Noodles with mushrooms and a shredded chicken leg with an Iced Lemonade. Also, the Fish Sandwich with homemade potato chips and a side salad with vinegarette dressing and a Honey Papaya Iced Tea. The fish sandwich was a huge piece of Cod fried light and flakey with a homemade tarter sauce and a spicy house sauce. The bun was light and fluffy with a slight crisp

I ordered a Taro Boba Smoothie with Passion Fruit sweetener to-go and enjoyed it while cruising the Branson Strip.

My wife had the stir fry noodle with shredded chicken and I had the cashew chicken sandwich. Both were delicious! Generous size chicken on my sandwich. It all came out good and hot. Excellent presentation. Everyone was very attentive and helpful. An interesting place to eat. Very good. Reasonably priced too.

Wife and I really liked the place, first time trying it out so my wife ask about a million questions because of her allergies. The server was fantastic and took the time to answer everything and made suggestions and explained what was in each dish. My wife had something that her and the server thought up, no idea what it was called, she couldn’t eat it all so I got a taste and it was great. I had the tenderloin Sandwich with the chips and salad. I wanted to try it just the way they make it so it was just a tad spicy for my taste but once again awesome, already have my eye on the fish sandwich for next time. All I can say is you really need to try it out at least once.

Amazing food, my fiancé got the tofu noodle soup and she rated it 4.5/5.

we had the takoyaki balls as an appetizer and overall it was very good, crispy outside, but a slightly mushy yet gamey texture inside(I am picky about my textures cause I’m mentally a 4 year old with food) tasted great and the sauce with it was very good.

I had the cashew chicken sandwich, came with chips and a side salad, the ranch with the salad was very nice and had a nice tang to it. The chips were made in house and were very crispy with just the right amount of salt. Bread was nice and soft and the chicken was a chicken breast, crispy and hot. Cashews and the sauce complimented it very well.

We got the strawberry matcha boba and the dirty chai boba, both were very good.

Overall the food was amazing, the staff were very kind and helpful and did an amazing job, and the atmosphere has a nice cozy hole in the wall cafe type of vibe to it.

I’d rate this place a 4.75/5 and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice bite to eat in a cozy atmosphere with great service.

The service was friendly and attentive, but the food fell short of expectations. The noodle dish is listed at $12.99, yet there are multiple $2 upcharges—for “handmade” noodles, mushrooms, and shrimp—making it easy to end up paying $18.99 without realizing it. The noodles were overly salty. The bubble tea tasted like it was made with artificial sweetener rather than real sugar, which was disappointing since that’s one of the main reasons I chose this place. There was also a noticeable musty, mold-like smell when we walked in. I genuinely wanted to support a family-owned business, but overall, the experience was not very satisfying.

——————————

Reading the owner’s reply honestly made me even more upset.

First, I trusted the waitress and asked for her recommendation. She strongly suggested the hand-pulled noodles but never mentioned there would be a $2 upcharge for choosing that option. You could argue that I should have read the menu more carefully, but when you specifically ask for a recommendation, you expect full transparency.

I ordered a boba tea at 70% sugar, but it tasted extremely bland. I asked the waitress to bring me some sugar so I could adjust it myself. She insisted on adding it for me instead. When I tried it again, the drink had a very strong artificial taste—I’m certain it was not regular sugar. I actually almost choked on a big sip because the sweetness was so overpowering and chemical-like. She explained that she added the sugar through my straw. I would genuinely like to know what kind of “premium sugar” can be added through a straw yet doesn’t taste anything like normal sugar.

When the chef came over and asked for feedback, I told him right away that the noodles were too salty. He responded that it was probably due to the oyster sauce but didn’t offer to remake the dish or adjust it.

We had driven three hours from Kansas City and were already hungry and tired, so we ended up finishing the food. However, the boba tea was simply undrinkable—I left half the cup on the table.

There were five of us. We ordered one small chicken noodle soup, one stir-fried rice noodle, three stir-fried handmade noodle dishes, and one large classic boba tea. The total came to $85, and I tipped them $10.

For nearly $100, I honestly don’t feel the food justified the price.

I had stir fry noodles with tempura tofu and sweet potato noodles. Also had a lotus energy drink. Everything was very delicious and fresh. Had great vegan options. Great service. I definitely recommend to vegans vegetarians and meat eaters.

My daughter and I come here and door dash with always a pleasant experience. It is our favorite place for a “just us girls night” She brags about the boba tea to all her friends and the food hits the spot every time with health, nutrition, and savoring. The owners are always willing to go above and beyond for every customer. Don’t forget the desserts-you can’t go wrong with whatever you order.

This is the best place I’ve found for ramen/noodle soup, anywhere! Specifically the vegetarian/mushroom broth.
The tempura shrimp and boba tea is also really good!

Carly’s is a beautiful gem for Asian fusion cuisine. You can immediately tell that everything is made fresh, with thought and care behind every dish. We ordered the crab rangoon and vegetable tempura as appetizers—though we forgot to take pictures because we devoured them right after the first bite! Every flavor was spot on: fresh, balanced, and absolutely satisfying. Even the potato chips were light and crisp, not oily at all.

The service was just as impressive—warm, welcoming, and attentive. We also tried the milk teas, which were perfectly blended, and the boba had that ideal soft-chewy texture. No wonder the owners have won so many awards—this place truly deserves the recognition.

Hats off to the team behind Carly’s. Busog kaayo mi! (We were very full and satisfied!) Highly recommend!

Really loved the food! I eat vegan but must husband does not so it’s really hard to find healthy food choices that both of us can have at the same restaurant! We had their onion rings and homemade chips…both were really good. My husband had a gyro with lamb but could had a choice of any meat on a sandwich or with an Asian dish. I had their stir fried sweet potato noodles with veggies and tofu…it was excellent. They also have nondairy options for ice cream or the honey ginger milk that I had…it was very good too!
