A pleasant little mainstream bakery with excellent coffee, and a plethora of wonderful scones! I tried apricot and cream, blueberry, lavender lemon, and chocolate espresso. They were all lovely! The staff was attentive, helpful, and friendly!

Carly Mae’s is a must-stop destination when traveling on Hwy 52 through Chatfield. This gem of a cafe offers delicious and inventive pastries, cookies, breads, and sandwiches plus the service is friendly and accommodating. I love cookies and they have created two of my all-time favorites: Jerralyn’s Jumbles (white chocolate, craisins, coconut flakes, and walnuts) and a spicy dark chocolate cherry cookie. Plus their sandwiches are creative and delicious. I love their spicy pork sandwich (lean chunks of pork with cucumbers and kim chi).

Fabulous chance breakfast stop at this adorable small town cafe/bakery after spending the night at the Wykoff Jail Haus! The staff and locals were very nice and the breakfast sandwich and savory scone sandwiches were hot, fresh, and delicious and we shared a huge yummy cinnamon roll! We had to pick up some baked goodies to go, too! For sure a worthwhile stop!

Cute bakery in a small town. Coffee was good and apple cinnamon donut was delicious. It was thinly glazed but not too sweet, which was good for me, and texture of the donut was pleasantly soft.

Carly Mae’s makes the best scones I have ever had–the perfect texture and flavors, just the right amount of sweetness. You must try the peaches and cream scones. Treat yourself at Carly Mae’s when you are in Chatfield!

I’ve stopped here on a number of occasions. Always great coffee and food. My favorite is the scone with bacon and jalapenos! It’s great that they are open early so I’m able to get my caffeine fix in the 6am hour.

Impulsively stopped while driving through Chatfield and am glad I did. Food and coffee was good, staff friendly, clean restroom. I took a risk and had a cheese and jalapeños scone, it was tasty. Also had Dutch cucumber salad, this was the same as the cucumbers my family in Denmark served. If I lived closer I would eat there frequently.

Loved our stop here on the way through Chatfield! Enjoyed delicious baked goods and coffee for breakfast, then took some beautiful sourdough and yummy donut holes to go.

Stopped by here on our way down to lanesboro for a baked good. We got some caramel rolls and cookies to go. The staff was nice and offered to heat up the caramel roll when we asked. The caramel roll was okay, not my favorite, the cookie was also average nothing extra special. The atmosphere is a basic small town bakery, has what you need with tables and chairs to sit down if you wanted. We did get accidentally charged for another $8 item and we had to do the math after paying and then go back to ask to get a refund while we were waiting for the food. The staff was nice and was able to fix it.

We stopped there near closing time this last Saturday (11-9) and I am so happy we did! What a cute and cozy place on a rainy afternoon. All of the treats were delicious and beautifully presented. The cold brew with pumpkin foam was the perfect afternoon pick me up!
