Aside from going 80 in the slow lane Carlucci’s is the only thing I miss about Utah. Their coffee is excellent, I haven’t had a baked good there I didn’t love. Though I have to call out their Decadences (rich chocolate torts) and fruit tarts are especially good. I am addicted to their amazing pasta salad, and baked Italian tofu sandwiches. But their other lunch and breakfast items are also amazing. Seriously go there and enjoy.

This is such a sweet neighborhood bakery. I love how every time I go in Carluccis, there’s a regular customer chatting it up with one of the baristas or bakers, and it’s such a sweet and homey vibe. My absolute favorite items from their bakery are the black and white cookies and the raspberry decadence torts. They have a bunch of cute and cozy decor, great views of the park and surrounding area, and a bunch of outdoor seating. The staff is always so friendly and efficient, too!

We arrived in SLC and were starving. This place was a block away from our hotel and what a great find it was. Great service, strong coffee, and the flakiest croissants ever! Their quiche was delicious, the soup was scrumptious, and their yogurt parfait was refreshing. Nice little spot.

Cool place to eat. Found a hair in my pasta which is always unfortunate. Staff is always kind. The food is delicious and feels homemade. Environment is very welcoming. Parking can be difficult at times. I would still recommend this eatery any time for first time visitors and veterans of Salt Lake City.
