Be careful, this will become your local favorite before you know it! The veggie enchiladas are hands down the best enchiladas I’ve ever had. Upon request, they will make it as spicy as you’d like. Nowhere else brings the heat like they do. Servers are always kind and attentive. 5 stars, thank you Carlsbad Tavern!

Still dreaming of the tastiest green Chile chicken quesadilla that I had here. Not only was every bite of food delicious, but the drinks were great and well priced! The service was incredible, all the staff were extremely kind. We had just come in from the airport and had our luggage with us but they were kind enough to let us store our bags inside with the staff while we sat outside and enjoyed the gorgeous weather and food. Everything from the name to the menu style is incredibly creative and I can’t wait to visit again!

I recently visited the cave themed New Mexican restaurant and was blown away by the entire experience. From the moment I walked in, I was transported to another world, surrounded by stunning cave-like decor. The food was equally impressive, with each dish expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, making sure our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience. Five stars all around!

Gotta love a restaurant with a punny name. The food was absolutely delicious. The $8 margarita was a good value (discount over the menu price which is a bit steep tbh). Service was just right: attentive but not annoying. Can’t wait to come back in when it’s a bit warmer and dine outside.

Food was decent, atmosphere is really cute. Waitress was very friendly and pretty attentive. Our daughter had the Adovada Mac & Cheese which was really good. My husband had the veggie enchiladas which had an odd sauce but he still liked them, they had a good selection of veggies in them. I had the Adovada Chimi, it was alright but didn’t have a ton of flavor. Both our plates came with black beans, which were pretty good, and Spanish rice which was really dried out. Chips and salsa are an extra charge of $4, not sure if you get refill or not. No hot sauce other than the bottled kind. The salsa with the chips we ordered was ok, the red is a little sweet and zero heat, the green was better with a little bit of spice. Used to New Mexico chili being super hot.

Fun place that I didn’t know about until this visit. The food was fantastic. The chili rellenos were delicious. I didn’t even need a box. Friends had the meatloaf, which was a huge portion

Always amazing food and service. Our server was a young lady who was being trained. I asked her for her name, and I regret not being able to remember it. She was one of the best servers we have ever had. She worked in the restaurant industry before having a change in career. You can tell She is glad to be back and loves what she does. I hope she is there when we return.
