I just wanted something simple and easy to eat, so I brought their fish sandwich. The cashier asked me if I had just a few minutes to spare because they have to cooked the fish, so I like sure. The taste of that fish sandwich was worth the wait. If you are on the go and a little time to spare, try this locations fish sandwich. You’ll be pleased.

Bad experience today. Two employees on opposite sides of me proceeded to have a loud conversation across the room. Each one of my ears was assaulted by an unneccessarily loud conversation at a distance. How could they not perceive they were irritating to customers? Maybe they dont gaf. Did their mother never tell them to use their inside voice? Very unprofessional and annoying.

So this is in the same building as Chevron, and I was gassing up, and I was super hungry. I haven’t been to a Carl’s Jr. in years! Two people working. The lady was taking a drive thru order, and it seemed like they were having communications issues. The guy was inside the dark office looking at his phone. After 5 minutes, I told them it’s okay to take their time since I wasn’t in a rush. Guy came out of the office looking like I was bothering him big time. I ordered one of the $5 special, then I said, “I also want…” I paused because I was about to sneeze. Guy interrupted me saying, “no changes, no changes!” I told him, “I know.” He must’ve been really busy because he was hurrying me. I paid in cash. He handed me a small beverage cup.
I heard the guy said, “here you go.” Apparently he was talking to me. Then I got my food. They didn’t even put the fries in a bag!
Entire conversation –
– Dirty looks from both employees.
– No changes, no changes
– Here you go
Maybe somebody should tell them it’s okay to smile, say thank you, or anything to remind them that it’s a customer service job.
As I was about to leave, I saw the guy take an order from a couple. He allowed them to make changes.

Spent $50 on 2 spicy chicken sandwiches and two California style burgers and 4 crinkle fries and six chicken strips. Me or my kids didn’t like any of it. The chicken sandwich had no flavor to it. The hamburger was just as plain. I will never go back to Carl’s Jr. I don’t know if it’s just this location but I refuse to go back to any.

Well, this place just became my favorite Carl’s Jr. Not only did they get my beyond famous star without cheese or mayo right, they got the whole order right. Even the extra pickles for the wife’s famous star with cheese. Thank you folks.

Carl’s Jr has been one of my go to fast food spots. I definitely prefer this location over the Junipero Serra one. Their sides (fries, zucchini, onion rings) are always prepared fresh and you can tell by the oil on your go bag.
I highly recommend getting the lettuce wrap / low carb style. I think they do it the best out of all of the fast food places.
Also, ask for the house sauce! It’s way better than ranch.

Update. There are now only 2 items on the $5menu. Now there is a 6$ and $7 menu choice. Food itself was still woth stopping there after Costco.
OLD Review follows. I had the five dollar meal with the burger onion rings fries and cookie. The burger was fresh cooked and delicious. The fries/onion rings were great even the cookie was good plus you get a beverage of ur choice. Service was above average. The atomosphere sorta sucks. Inside a quick stop type gasoline place. I was very hungry and this meal hit the spot. I will go back if in the neighborhood.

It’s been awhile I’ve been to a Carl’s Jr I’ve been disappointed with the ones up in Sacramento but I’ll tell you this one right here I came by I ordered a double cheeseburger they made it to order and they cooked it as I wait in line didn’t have to wait long it was worth the wait it was delicious the way I liked it the onion rings on point as always and to drink great as usual the chicken stars were tasty I can’t say anything more but this place really is really good…
