Placed an order through the app. I was the only person at the drive thru so I got my order right away. It came sealed and the employees were talking with each other showing me they weren’t busy. I got home and found my order missing items. I was left with my craving dissatisfied. I decided to reach out to corporate and have them resolve my issue. It was extremely hard to find out who to contact. I sent an email and let them know about my situation. They sent me a $5 gift card for my inconvenience. Honestly I was expecting more for my trouble. I guess I’m used to other restaurants going above and beyond to ensure my experience wasn’t bad. I thought they would offer for me to pick up the same order or a complimentary combo. I wasn’t going to leave this review because I expected corporate to take care of the issue. However, I do not feel like they did. So, I’m leaving for other customers to know, CHECK YOUR BAG before you leave. Customer support is not good. You’re better off contacting the manager.

One in particular stood out. Christian, focused and paid attention to our specifics and did all he could to match us will the appropriate meal deals and cost efficiencies. He was able to order us a meal we didn’t know we really wanted getting our stomachs full and our wallets happy. Never rushed and always listening and full of patience and friendly. I will go out of my way to choose this location because of Christian. I hope he is recognized for his up and above customer satisfaction and overall experience.

I tried out the new and improved sourdough star burger here and it tasted pretty alright
This is whats included:
Sourdough bun
Beef patty
Lettuce
Tomatoe
Cheese
Mayo
and some other type of sauce which is carls jr signature sauce.
They include a single or double patty option and it tastes better than the last sourdough burger they had before, just dont save the burger for later since it quickly goes bad going very soft and losing its flavor if you reheat it in the microwave.
As for an overall review, they dont make good quality burgers here, i can confirm because i tried multiple items from this location and other carls jrs.
The pattys come very small making the idea that they freeze their patties which lose lots of the flavor and size when they go to cook your food, they have new employees from time to time so its understandable that they forgot to get my drink as ive been waiting a good 10 minutes in the parking lot.
I give this place a 2 out of 5 but a place id still come to eat, ill update my review in the future to see if they change for the better, if not this review stays the same.

Man… Carl’s has been my favorite for a long time, this was one of many sad outings at this location over the last 6 months and I’ve had enough. Come on Carls.. roached, refried dried out, cold chicken and zucchini, “no ranch or house dressing available” … man, whoever running quality control here needs to be fired.. much better options around the corner. It hurts me to write a review like this about Carl’s, but I keep it real. When I reached out about this experience I was ignored.. so will this location next time I want to spend 40 bucks to feed my family.. go elsewhere ppl.

Just went to Carls Jr to get some dinner. I only ordered 4 chicken sandwiches and all my sandwiches had little to no mayo and lettuce. For 20 something dollars I think I should have at least got the ingredients that the items come with.

They never give you all that you pay for. They always forget something to your order. The food is always sloppy and made like they are feeding it to animals and not people. Its always over cooked or undercooked. They never listen to a custom order as simple as no mayonaise. Ive had too many encounters with rude people taking my order. Most of the employees have horrible work ethic and its obvious the management doesnt care. They never anwser thier phone. This restaurant has plummeted in quality. Me and my family will no longer eat here. Its a shame the kids they hire have tarnished this restaurants reputauion. Someone should call the health inspector , a restaurant full of bad employees like this probably has worse secrets to be found out. NEVER GOING HERE AGAIN!

I love coming to this Carl’s Jr. location, at 6061 Van Buren, in Riverside. The number one reason is because of Christian, the cashier! His big smile and pleasant demeanor are always welcoming. He’s a natural at making a customer’s experience a very positive one. The food orders are prepared quickly and never disappoint. I’m keenly aware and like to outstanding customer service. He gets an A+++ and is definitely an asset to Carl’s Jr.! I shared this with his professional Manager, Maria, who thanked me for the feedback and also agreed.
