I just ordered through the drive thru. Spent $47 on 2 burgers, 2 poppers, fries and a 5 piece chicken strips. Got home and only had 3 strips. I paid $10 for the strips. Mistakes happen, I get it. But when I called to let them know, the phone rang until it requested an access code. I’m disappointed that I couldn’t get a resolution by contacting the restaurant upon finding my order wrong. It just costs so much these days.

I really want to give five star because the burgers are really good but I don’t know why the large fry I ordered is not full. I saw the same issue reported from old reviews. Hope the manager could pay attention to that.

I recently ordered an Oreo milkshake and unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with the quality. The milkshake was extremely watery, lacking the thick, creamy consistency I expected. It tasted more like flavored milk than a proper milkshake.
It’s absurd prices have been raised and the quality has decreased. The parking lot and dining area were at least some what clean.

Worst experience ever. Ordered a burger and waited over 30 minutes to get food even though it was me and one party in front of me. Asked for ketchup and told that the ketchup was by the soda machine. Went to the soda machine and no ketchup to be found. Absolutely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Great service from the guy at the register. He was friendly, helpful, patient, seriously refreshing.
The burgers were good. We had the hangover burger, which was actually really filling and pretty good. The bacon is like cheap tiny floppy bacon, not like if you make it at home, but it was fine and there was bacon in every bite. The burger patty was thin but good flavor. The egg is like scrambled eggs patty like in many breakfast sandwiches. The special sauce is a strong ketchup based sauce.
Here’s where they lost stars….
1. They forgot our large french fry (we discovered when we got home 10 mins away and then they didn’t answer their phone)
2. The amount of waffle fries wasn’t even filling the cup, let alone sticking out of the cup at all. They were however yummy, which made the lack of a full cup hurt even more. ( I asked about the size when I ordered, debating if I should get two, but they said it was filled up completely.) I assure you, it was not.
3. Fried zucchini was good, just softer than I remember, not really crispy like I swear it used to be. Still good enough though. Also could have been more in the cup, we got 7 pieces total.
FWIW This was a fast improvement over the last time I went, about 5 years ago, when the manager was rude, forgot half my order, which I didn’t notice until I got home and then they acted like it didn’t happen when I went back to pick it up. And all the burgers had no condiments.
Super bowl free burger. I decided to try again. They still can’t remember all the food in the order, shame on me for not checking I guess… Shame on them for not getting it right. (Oh and, no, it was not busy)
Anyways, kudos to the guy at the front and the cooks. Whomever is bagging the food and grabbing the fries… Don’t be stingy and make sure you got everything please.
I’ll be back if I’m in the area, but I’m DEFINITELY checking my order is all there.
Now, do I go make a 20 minute round trip to pick up a $4 large fry, try tomorrow, or let it go…..

If I could take a star away I would. In the pic you can see a horribly dry, cold, old burnt bun that was possibly stepped on, it was deflated. The burger was cold and rubbery. Don’t eat at the Pomerado location (14949 Pomerado Rd, Poway, CA 92064) drive a few miles to get a proper WBC 16685 Bernardo Center Dr, San Diego, CA 92128. I would have requested my money back if I was eating inside. My request for additional bbq sauce was not included.

The Family and i decided to go out to eat at carls jr. but the gentleman that help us out at the drive thru was very rude and disrespectful i understand people can have bad days but it is not cool to take out your frustration on your customers not just that. my diablo fries i ordered were Shystie very little cheese on them and inly two slices of jalapeños then when he handed us our order he slams the little window shut aggressively. I should have looked at there reviews before i decided to take my family out to a fast food restaurant but i definitely hope that guy can get his attitude together because he is only pushing customers away and slandering this carls jr location on There reviews .
