Reviews
Service was pretty fast considering they made to order.
The customer service is great. Fast, friendly service. Delicious food. Clean restrooms. This Carls Jr. is very spacious and nicely remodeled. Very nice!
On a better note, my Diet Coke was good from one of those “coca cola freestyle” machines….it was good until there wasnt any syrup left… just kind of a bummer overall. And 4 bucks for a large soda that was barely 16oz…. this is simply a rip-off
Cleanliness is another recurring problem. Multiple customers mention unclean and smelly restrooms, and the presence of people sleeping inside on weekends creates an uncomfortable atmosphere. For a location right next to LAX, you’d expect better upkeep and more consistent management.
Service can be hit‑or‑miss as well. Some staff are friendly, but others seem overwhelmed, and wait times can be long even when the restaurant isn’t busy. With so many travelers relying on this spot for a quick meal, the inconsistency really stands out.
Overall, this Carl’s Jr. feels like it’s coasting on its location rather than delivering a solid experience. It’s fine in a pinch, but definitely not the reliable stop it should be for an airport‑area restaurant.
I ordered “western bacon combo”, and the guy asks me “double or triple”, like there were only two choices – I responded with “single”.
This other guy who brought my food out gave me the evil eye, no words, when he handed it to me, in response to my “thank you” to him.
But the worst one is the security guard! She’s off her meds or something. Medium height black lady carries a bunch of food trays over to the order counter and violently slams them down. I look at her and she gives me this nasty glance like she’s going to kill me. Later she goes to patrol outside, and when she comes back in, she kicks one of the chairs to make a loud noise out of it. Then she strolls over and sits at the table right next to me (even though the restaurant is not even 10% full). And she starts watching YouTube videos on her phone at full volume, and they’re like violent videos with lots of swearing.
Take the drive through next time. I haven’t been to Carl’s in like 15 years and this is probably my last time ever. Stay safe around the security guard.
If you’re looking for a convenient stop after dropping someone off at the airport, this restaurant is worth considering. The interior boasts a clean and inviting atmosphere, with exceptionally tidy bathrooms that enhance the overall experience. However, be prepared for slightly slower service; during our visit, it took around 15 minutes to place our order, even with only a few customers ahead of us. This prompted one guest to walk out, highlighting a need for improved efficiency.
While the restaurant’s cleanliness is commendable, the exterior could use some attention, as the trash bins were overflowing. Additionally, the soda machine was low on syrup, limiting drink choices. Despite these minor setbacks, the establishment offers a solid menu that makes it a good choice for a quick bite. With a few adjustments, it has the potential to become a must-visit.
Truly, Steven Jackson, a very happy/satisfied customer!
