I am hesitant on reviewing this Santa Fe gem as this is one of my favorite places to get a great burger at a very economical price. The place is always clean and the staff friendly. There is free wifi and plenty of seating. A very good economical place to go in Santa Fe where restaurants can be pricey. So hope after this review I can still get a seat when I visit!

Walk in zero staff ten mins latter a lady comes from outside behind the building but no she can’t help me she doesn’t speak english, she gets a guy from in back guess what no English I literally have to show him on the poster. I went here twice on my trip to Colorado. The first time I ordered at the drive thru and everything was good. The second time (on my way home) I went inside to eat. The woman taking my order could barely take my order. I was very clear I only wanted the burgers but she asked me every time if I wanted the meals and kept asking me to repeat what I said. After paying I looked at the receipt to see she didn’t even put everything we ordered on our ticket so I had to order again to get the rest of my food. Once we got our food my kids didn’t get the fries their kids meal comes with. They did give us the fries no questions asked though. My kids and I needed to use the restroom. The women’s was locked and the men’s was open but locked so you couldn’t shut the main door to keep anyone else out. I’d go back to this restaurant because my current home city doesn’t have a Carl’s Jr and it’s a nostalgic food for me but my last stop here was not pleasant so it’s kinda left a bad thought in my head. Luckily I rarely go to Santa Fe and probably won’t be back for a couple years, hopefully my experience then will be better.

I went to get the new prim rib and cheddar. It was the worst. It was not Fluffy and big. It was flat as a pancake.
It had almost no cheese. I got the single and it was ove 11 dollars.
Not even worth the money.
I’m a bus driver and I’m telling ever other driver and passenger not to buy this meal.

Carl’s Jr must be one of the pinnacles of the fast food industry. Every time I visit this restaurant I am greeted with relatively alright service and not all that bad food. While this may seem a somewhat poor review for any restaurant, the majority of fast food places cannot even compare to this kind of service, as theirs are completely terrible, and the food is even worse. So, this review is seeing Carl’s Jr and judging it for what it is, and what it’s competition is. Restaurants made to push out cheap, mediocre food quickly. And Carl’s Jr does a pretty good job of that, especially when compared to similar establishments. 4 stars in comparison to Mc’s, less when compared to real food. Also the 5 dollar boxes are a good value.

The chicken sandwich was pretty good and the drink as well. I don’t know how their fries are because they didn’t give me my fries even though I ordered a combo. The sandwich was like messy. Like if it doesn’t get all over the place, it doesn’t belong in your face.

“That’s a Damm tasty burger!” Clean restrooms mean the kitchen is equally squeaky clean. And that is super important in this day and age. Excellent service, brought to the table with a nice smile and without any fuss. I like how they locked the side doors so nobody interrupts your peace and serenity while eating.
