Whoever took my order was so quiet you had to ask what she said after everything. She didn’t even fake being happy to help me and my husband. She looked like she hated being there and sounded it too. The only reason I am giving more than one star is the food was hot, fresh, and mostly accurate. I asked for no lettuce and it felt like I got extra lettuce. It looked like there was only 1 person working there, which doesn’t surprise me with how desolate this place looks. This store needs more employees, more service that is actually top quality, and a serious update. I honestly plan to delete the app because every time I place an order through there it gets cancelled. Honestly this a horrible company as I have experienced this same type of service at every location I go to.

My mom ordered a pick up from this location the night of Feb 8th around 9:30pm. I went to pick up my order and unfortunately there soda fountains weren’t working so we didn’t get the fountain drinks that we wanted, but Darissa was AWESOME! She went above an beyond with offering other options to satisfy us and was so patient with me to contact my mom to ask what other drink we wanted. She is a prime example on what customer service should look like. 100% will be coming again when in Layton because of her. Thanks so much girl! You rock at what you do!

The service was good while the people were friendly. The restaurant was clean and pleasant including the rest room . I was surprised at how quickly we were served and that the price was not as gouging as other places with similar menus. We had a combination meal with avocado on a burger. It tasted fresh and was well prepared. I can’t remember the name of the burger but I would definitely look for it on the menu and purchase it again.

The food was so unpleasant, not 1 of us ended up finishing…and we were right to do so because about 12 hours later, we were all throwing up. The cleanliness of the restaurant was not great either. Surfaces were wiped down, but the whole store had an older grungy feel. My 4 year old is who talked us into going here because you can see from the car that they have a pretty cool looking playground. (1st time in 12 years) he played on it for less than 5 minutes and was DONE. Even kids can see and feel the grunge.

They get my order right most of the time.
However, today they did not. No sweat right? Upon asking for my burger to be hopefully remade correctly, the employee instructed the one in the back to scrape my bun. I was hoping it was a joke but it definitely wasn’t. How are you gonna scrape a bun instead of replace it?
Be careful if you have food allergies or have a preference because the employees here do not care.
They also offer a free burger for a good review so take that as you will. They know there is a problem but they aren’t fixing it anytime soon. It’s a shame really since I love Carl’s, but this location doesn’t share that love for food.

The place is fine but the soda machines suck. You can taste how old they are. I’m not saying to upgrade to the new freestyle machines but maybe something that doesn’t show the rust, wear and tear and tastes like it too

I went on my lunch break, ordered a combo, Guacamole burger. The fries were not fresh to say the least. They were barely even warm, the same with the burger. They were fast and now I know why, the food was ready before I even got there. I won’t be going there again!

I am disappointed in Carol’s Jr. Staff solely discriminating someone because they were homeless. This kind of treatment is unacceptable in any business, especially one that serves the public. Everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of their housing situation. It’s been made clear that compassion is not a priority here, and it has left a lasting negative impression. I hope management takes this opportunity to reflect on their policies and train their staff to treat all customer humanely.
