Stopped by just after 11. No one in line. Double cheeseburger ordered. What I got was absolutely not what I expected. Not sure why an order during a slow period could turn out like this. Service was not friendly, and burger was even more disappointing.

I haven’t been to a Carls Jr in probably over a decade so I figured I’d give it a try. The fries were by far the best part of the meal. Piping hot to the touch and crispy. Burger tasted good but was depressing. That burger patty needs to be improved. Sooo very small and tasteless. I’ll be back for the fries when I pass through.

Place was noisy, dirty and sticky everywhere. From the handles on the doors to the counters, pop machine and of course sticky and food covered table and bench seating.
Food seemed good but this is probably one of the worst Carl’s Jr restaurants I have eaten in and I haven eaten in dozens across multiple states.
Air conditioning seems to be struggling to keep up with the heat coming off the grill.
Kids running wild and distorted blasting music coming out of PA speakers.
I ate and retreated back to my truck.

I rarely eat this kind of food but I do like their California burger on a rare occasion and decided to stop in for a quick bite. I used the drive through. The person on the speaker repeated my request twice and gave me the total. When I drove away from the window I opened my sandwich, took a bite and had to spit it out. It had jalapenos on it. I am highly allergic to jalapenos peppers (actually all peppers and chilis) I returned to the store and went in and asked them why there were jalapenos on my California burger. The young woman that took my order told me that she asked me twice what I wanted and confirmed it. No onions and no tomato. They do not put jalapenos on a California burger. I asked, again, why are there jalapenos on this California burger. I was ignored. I told the girl and the older woman that I am allergic to jalapenos and they both laughed. Really? Laughed. I was already becoming ill and my stomach was going into spasm, just from the juice of that jalapeno. They made me another sandwich and the older woman shooed me away. I asked to see the manager and she said that she was the manager and dismissed me. I will not return to any Carl’s Jr, and I will continue to share this story about the two woman who laughed at a customer that they made ill, and they also offered no assistance in any way. I drove home and have since thrown up three times, the last time bringing blood. I will encourage people in this neighborhood to NOT trade with Carl’s Jr and hope that all will spread the word about the lack of compassion that these people show for somebody that they make sick. I have attempted to reach the manager of this store so I will see if he returns my call.
