Food: was delicious. The big Carl always hits the spot. Fries were gross, cold and stale.
Was initially handed the wrong order and then people started yelling at eachother about my order! Handed a bag of food, no drinks.. when I asked for my drinks the person had no clue! Just a regular drive thru order…

I came to this Carl’s Jr for the first time yesterday. It was simple: I had a coupon and I was hungry. The girl behind the counter was great. My only regret is I didn’t catch her name as she was wearing a sweater or something over he name tag (if indeed she was wearing a name tag). I ordered my food as dine-in and my friend’s as carry-out. The girl placed two separate orders for me and brought out the carry-out a little later so it would still be hot when I left. Not only that, but she had my food out to my table before I even finished at the soda machine. She was like some stealthy Carl’s Jr-ninja.
The food was what you’d expect from a fast-food chain. Nothing special, but not the worst fast-food by far. That honor goes to the golden arches.
Here’s where I complain. Okay, not ‘complain’, per se, but rather I become extremely critical: the dining area wasn’t a mess, but it could have used a good once over to get crumbs and other bits of food off some of the tables and chairs. If it had been busy I might have given the restaurant a pass on this, but it wasn’t. In fact, at one point a couple of employees were standing around gabbing about whatever it was they were gabbing about while the restaurant looked like that. Had I been their manager I wouldn’t have cared if they talked or gossiped like that while they cleaned as long as they were cleaning.
And then I went to the men’s room. It was horrid. Dried yellow stains (you know what I mean) on the urinal and the toilet, dirty floors and tile that was in serious need of a detox. I get it, I was young once as well – no one wants to clean the bathroom, but you know what? A disgusting bathroom like that makes me question the kitchen’s cleanliness. If you can’t keep the public areas clean, how are we supposed to trust you keep the private areas sanitized?
