This used to be a great place to stop while traveling the gas station was clean and tidy and Carl’s JR had great food. The restaurant was clean and the food was really good. What happened? The food was not good. There were flies everywhere and not a single table was clean. The staff were courteous though.

Waited 30 minutes for our food when we saw them hand half our order to a different customer who ordered after us. Didn’t even get an apology for the wait and then they threw our correct food just into the bag. Super lazy and rude. I work in service and this is not how you treat customers especially when these workers were the ones that messed stuff up and had us wait for so long. Saw them looking at the order seeing it was wrong while completely ignoring us. I was waiting for this food since we had to travel to get it and am super disappointed with the service and lack of care. Waste of my time and money. Won’t be back anytime soon.

We stood at the counter for well over 10 minutes waiting for the two people working to ever acknowledge us. The girl at the frier was cussing at it. The older women at the drive thru, walked right past us mumbling something. We finally just walked out because we needed to be in Amarillo pretty soon.

The service here has always been great. I think Carl’s Jr. overall has taken a bit of a dive in quality with the food. Hardees/Carl’s Jr. used to be one of the best, now it’s just average. I can’t fault the location for that. So 5 stars for service, but average everywhere else.
