**Unexpected Morning Hangout with the Unofficial City Council**
Took the crew here for a quick breakfast while waiting on materials to be delivered to our remodel job site. Needed something fast and filling before what was going to be a long day of work.
I went with the hand breaded chicken biscuit and it definitely hit the spot – crispy, hot, and substantial enough to fuel the morning. The biscuit was flaky and the chicken had that satisfying crunch you’re looking for. Good portion size too.
What really made this visit memorable though was the atmosphere. This place seems to be the unofficial meeting spot for the local retirees, and I mean that in the best way possible. These guys were making multiple trips to the coffee station (free refills, apparently) and holding court at their regular tables. Got to overhear some fascinating conversations about local history, city politics, and neighborhood happenings that you’d never learn anywhere else.
I’m declaring them the unofficial city council – they clearly know everything that’s going on in this town and aren’t shy about sharing their opinions on how things should be run. It was actually pretty entertaining listening to their debates while we waited.
Service was quick, staff was friendly, and the food did its job. Not gourmet by any means, but solid fast food that serves its purpose. The old-timers’ coffee klatch definitely adds character to the place. Would swing by again when we’re working in the area.

Michael did a wonderful job of being very kind and was very courteous. Michael helped advise me as to what was good on their menu! Michael also went above and beyond with this service when he made a shake that was delicious and it was not even on the menu anymore. This by far was one of my most exciting experiences that I’ve had had a fast food joint in quite a long time. The food was fresh and and every bite was hot! I will recommend friends and family eat at a Carl’s Jr, any time they travel and come across one.

The last time I was in I decided to download the app because we went so often. I got a reward of a free burger for doing so. Today I tried to use the reward and was told it was online only. I tried to tell the manager on duty that it wasn’t for the promo being run for today but she wouldn’t even listen. Then when my husband tries to talk to her she was also rude to him. We will not go back. And I will tell everyone I know to not go and the reason why.

My western bacon cheeseburger had obviously been sitting there for the entire day because the barbecue sauce had completely soaked into the bun which was only mush. Ewwww! No thank you! I love Carls Jr but you guys have to make fresh food! Stop stocking up on prepared food PLEASE. I just want a fresh burger!

I came in the lobby today it was nice and clean the service was amazing I got a famous star comb it was nice and fresh the dr.pepper was really good and Clarissa was a great help and she was so kind the bathroom was clean as well
