One of the best pizzas we ever had! Would like the secret recipe of tomato sauce. Beautiful atmosphere and wonderful staff. Water in a rooster jug is an extra bonus. I would really recommend this place. Thank you for such a great work!

An Italian restaurant that is part of a chain, but I found the food excellent and the staff very welcoming. It was good value too at about 55 euros for 2, having 2 courses and a drink. The main thing that stood out was the freshness of the ingredients in the pizzas and a very good tomato sauce.

Stopped off in La Rochelle for dinner, this restaurant is off the main strip which is nice as it’s a little less crowded. The area is lovely, the interiors are stunning and the food was delicious!

Very nice Italian restaurant with fast and friendly service. The pizzas in particular were excellent. They also serve a good choice of cocktails, both with and without alcohol. The beer on tap is Moretti. What more can you ask for? (Ah yes! Eccentric toilet!) Recommended!

We don’t eat pizza on a regular basis as we feel that most are not authentic. The Pizza at Carlotto was exceptional Neopolitan pizza. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a great lunch experience and a nice bottle of wine.

Without ANY doubts this is the best pizza in La Rochelle. You really need to be watching not to eat your fingers . I’ve came back several times and tried almost all pizzas and they are all delicious !!! Special recommendation for “Valeria” and “Sophia”.

I get the issue with staff and our industry being under massive pressure. But having 2 floor staff and one bar, with all the outdoor and more of then half the indoor full. It was “in the weeds” time!
But they dug themselves out of it..
Really enjoyed ourselves. Food really good, wine chilled. Service needs to improve.
Go. Try it. Enjoy it.

Unique, delicious pizza creations cooked to perfection. My pie had a cream of mushroom sauce…..amazing flavor. Service was spectacular! The ambiance was reminiscent of a small pub….narrow walls and short ceilling height. We got there at 7. Within minutes the restaurant was full and dozens of prospective diners were turned away. Make a reservation or get there when they open.

Okay experience, 3 pizzas out of 7 were burnt, the pizzas were very doughy due to a lack of toppings which is annoying when you pay 16€ for a pizza. Even though the waiter made a mistake on our order he was very efficient, pleasant and professional and gave excellent wine advice. At the end there was bit of confusion between the waiters over if we had payed or not, however we do recognise mistakes and communication errors can happen on busy evenings.
Other than that a satisfactory experience.
I don’t recommend coming here if you are looking for amazing pizzas, I would go to Bella donna who are more generous with their toppings for the same price.
