WOW! The food was great! The manager and his staff were very friendly. You can see some of the history of this restaurant on the walls, which is really cool. Indoor and outdoor seating. The music wasn’t overwhelming the atmosphere like other places I’ve visited.
When they’re full, it’s tight so if you didn’t like being around people, call ahead and check seeing availability.

Chips & Salsa were TERRIBLE!
Chips smelt and tasted like they were cooked in OLD GREASE!
Salsa, too chuncky, with large cuts of tomatoes.
Ensaladas were good, taco was good.
I typically judge a Mexican restaurant by their chips and salsa. BAD!
WILL NOT RETURN BECAUSE OF THAT!

The food was great and the atmosphere was good as well. The management and their servers were very polite. Seating was good but it is tight. There is seating on the outside as well. There’s plenty of parking but parking further out is on a rocky parking lot.

Service was friendly and fast, prices were fair, food was OK. Half priced margaritas on Monday and supposedly beer but my bill didn’t show half priced on the beer. Salsa was good, chips didn’t have much taste, and ceviche was OK.

Great food and good prices. Arrived at 11:30am and was quickly seated waited for about 20 minutes for food and it all came out together! Very nice!

Classic Old School Mexican restaurant in the same genre of Old Tucson or Phoenix. The Margaritas are excellent and I went with the Mexicali Salad; might as well try to at least eat healthy sometimes!

First time back since it closed. Started off with a Chilton for a drink , so much lemon I couldn’t taste the vodka, and there was no ice.
I ordered flautas, and a side salad, and my husband ordered the Tex special, beans and rice were really good!!
My flautas were skimpy, dry and small.. Guacamole tasted simply like nothing, not a seasoning in sight.
The salad was “wet” and the iceberg lettuce was chopped so thin it was soggy in texture.
My waitress was Yvette and she was absolutely wonderful, courteous, and professional!! She happily took off the salad, and was very attentive!!
