They have a food truck on the campus of Iowa State University next to Kildee Hall.
Had a try a couple times, and it’s alright. The food was extremely greasy – even more so than your average Mexican place. Pork didn’t have much flavor, but the other meats were good.

First off, the food was good. Not great, but good. Now, the reason for only 3 stars. Note that this may not be your experience but, on my visit, the cook was alone so he was trying to do sales and prepare the food so orders were taking too long, like way too long. Which is understandable given the circumstances. As the cashier finally showed up for work the orders seemed to start coming at acceptable pace for the patrons behind me. I had the street tacos and they were on par with what you would expect. Food came hot and fresh. UPDATE: Under the circumstances that the owner has been kind enough to respond, I look forward to giving this establishment another visit as reaching out to your customers goes a long way. Decided to try this place while out shopping one day. What a pleasant surprise it was! The place is clean to start with. The order was placed and delivered quickly. The food was great! I even tried all their salsas which were really good too! The chips were a little too salty for my liking but overall, I would definitely get good from here again!

I was surprised how good their burritos are! They grill them closed so you don’t have a mess all over your lap… Other places just don’t measure up. My new favorite place to grab Authentic Mexican Food. Plenty of seating and great music. Come check them out!

Word of mouth proves its worth once again! My co-worker calls this place a hidden gem and she is SO right! This mall shop is very clean and colorful with a well displayed menu. The pork on my Monday nacho special was AMAZING and the chips stayed crispy to the bottom. Spread the word!!

I’ve been here twice this week. Both times I ordered a burrito without pico and added sour cream. Both times the cashier acknowledged my modifications. Only one of these visits I was charged for sour cream. However both burritos did not receive sour cream, and both contained pico. The only positive is the soda cans were a fair price and cold. The burritos tasted bad and the pico made it worse. I will not be coming back.

I’m going to go ahead and say this is the best Mexican restaurant in town, and that includes all the sit-down places. They caught me by surprise, being a no-frills mall joint. Fast, friendly service, spotlessly clean atmosphere, and the burritos are absolutely sublime. The tortillas are toasted to perfection and the ingredients are flavorful. Their online ordering is solid and efficient, a necessity during this pandemic. Give them a shot; way better than Panchero’s or Chipotle.
