Unfortunately this Carlos has gone down hill over the last 2 years. My pizza yesterday was dry as a bone as if I asked for no sauce. Secondly my combo order that advertised for $23 came to $29. I was to told “its ever where, short supply”. The only add on was I wanted cheese bread instead of Carlo bread for a dollar more then I paid with credit card which is $1.50. Minor detail but enough to have me write a review. This has been adding up. I’ve had many other minor issues with this place and finally had enough. I’ve been going to this carlos for 15 years and won’t be back.

Reply to owner – It was Friday March 3. I hate to criticize and I realize it was really busy and the phone was constantly ringing. One of the young men seemed overwhelmed. He went back and forth from the phone to the oven to moving the food already out of the oven around. My order was already out of the oven when I walked in and I waited about 15 minutes. I love the everything bread but it was super spicy with some sort of pepper.

Carlo’s is a chain pizza shop with two stores in Harrison Township. We mostly order steak and cheese subs and they’re pretty good. The service is friendly and reasonably quick.

Our first time having Carlos Pizza. I got a hot Italian sub, antipasto salad, Carlos bread sticks, and pizza. It all way really good! The Carlos bread sticks were 10/10! So yummy!

Pizza was ok but we will not be returning due to the very rude staff. We watched customers walk out because of the way they were treated when trying to order pizza. Also was at the counter for 10min before anyone said anything then was greeted like I wasn’t supposed to be there.

It was the worst service or food I’ve ever wasted my time with. The woman working there never said hello. She actually said…”What do you want” in a very unfriendly way. I ordered a beef and cheese hoagie. After I paid, she walked away. Took her forever to make it. Myself and a couple family members were the only ones in the place. Once she made the order, she just plopped the order on the counter and walked away. No thank you, no nothing. She never smiled once. Never saw such a miserable looking person. Once I opened the sandwich later, I took one bite and spit it out. It was the worst sandwich I had ever tasted. I threw it in the trash. Won’t ever make the mistake of EVER going there again.

This is the first time ordering since the new owners took over. The pizza was good. There was a good blend of pepperoni and mushrooms. The crust was crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. I liked the sauce a lot. It was a sweeter sauce and mildly spiced. I will order again from this Carlo’s.
