Chris was a very efficient & friendly server. Very attentive. You need more like her. Mindy & rest of the staff was very helpful & friendly also. The food was affordable & delicious! It was ready faster than any restaurant I’ve been to recently. I definitely recommend this place!
I did what Mom always said and ate dessert first. Raspberry Cheesecake Empanadas. I had them leave off the sprinkles. Yum.
My table had a taco salad, chimichanga and two enchiladas. Chicken enchiladas one diablo sauce which was ok on creamy sauce one which appeared to have some melted cheese on it but definitely not creamy. None the less all tasted ok. Their soda/pops were very large glasses. It was very quiet and an enjoyable space. Restrooms clean.
I had the fajita cheese crisp as an appetizer it was ok. My chicken pacado (spelling??) Was ok. I got fries (bland unseasoned) and traditional rice, it look as if it was scrapped off the bottom of a pot that had been cooking all day. It completely killed my appetite. The waitress and manager were both kind and took the food off our bill and discounted our meal as well. Service was slow but acceptable, food quality has gone down hill. But I appreciate that my concern was addressed.
Today was a different experience. Different enough that I won’t be back. Seat yourself…that was fine but there was only one booth and it wasnt cleared. Being a waitress in the past I totally understand when you are busy or short handed that it can be frustrating. However, there was one gal on the phone and one doing something by the pop glasses. So we sat at the booth and waited patiently….then a very loud staff member raised her voice and told us to move because she wasn’t clearing a booth over us. We got up and said that it was the only booth left. She loudly and rudely said “that’s why we have tables and chairs. She didn’t say another word while cleaning the table off and was clearly angry.
We chose to leave because other customers were watching and it was humiliating. I’m 67 yrs old and was being polite and respectful. Her behavior was unacceptable. I hope Carlos takes a look at who they are employing and how they treat your customers. It won’t affect me because I won’t be back.
