It’s a nice hefty burger. Not smashed. Fries are nice. Recommend fries. Poutine disappointing because they don’t use curds but the gravy is the saving grace. Maybe just fries with gravy next time.
Not much for a dining atmosphere. A little bland, dated seating but still cozy. We ordered ahead before lunch and came back to pick up. We waited almost half hour past the time quoted when others got their lunch meals already.

My first visit I wen’t based on reviews and pictures of the burgers big mistake, ordered a fatboy the meat if lucky was only a 1/4 inch thick if that. All I could taste was the bun. I should have said something when asked how was the burger, I just said good paid and left with the thought I’ll never come back here. Bummer I moved to the area hoping this would be a good burger joint. I’ll add they seemed like good people

My husband and I love the food at Carlos Cucina. Today we had their lasagna, tortellini and garlic knots. It was the perfect meal for a frigid January night. The pastas were AMAZING and I could live on those garlic knots. Can’t wait to eat there again.

We came for the breakfast. We were seated right away. Very nice atmosphere. Cool pictures of the lake and their small towns. We had the breakfast special which was a sausage, peppers, spinach, onion omelette with hash browns and toast.Well worth the drive to have a great breakfast.
A few weeks ago we ordered take out of a few burgers which were the Tony and the harbor burger with fries and gravy. They smelled awesome I wanted to eat it right away but had to wait since I was driving. Home made gravy fries were those fries that are soft with a nice crispy look.
Worth the drive for a great meal at a reasonable price.
Definitely will be back to try something different.

Carlo’s Cucina is hands down the best place to go if you want an amazing burger! Just last weekend I was out for dinner with my husband elsewhere and I ordered a cheese burger. After the first bite, my husband asked how my burger tasted. My response was “it’s okay, but not even comparable to the burgers at Carlo’s Cucina.” Long story short, I have officially become a burger snob and whenever I am in Gimli visiting my family I want to go to Carlo’s Cucina for a burger and fries. Not only are the burgers delicious but everything I have tried on the menu I have enjoyed!! As a family we have also had their Mother’s day and Father’s Day brunch, Thanksgiving dinner and all you can eat pasta, salad and garlic toast. It has all been amazing, we are never disappointed! Thank you Marni, Carlo and all of the staff for giving us a place to dine out in Gimli where we are always treated like family, satisfied and full!!

Burgers at Carlo’s can be rated as excellent. One of the best burgers in Manitoba, cooked perfectly,moist but not too juicy … eaten not worn. Plenty of flavor and the fries were equally good. All Manitobans should put this on your Bucket list.

This has become a very popular place to go, we came around 4pm, they had us pick out a table, took our order, and in no time that whole place was packed, with to-go orders being picked up. The owner and cook was explaining this new creation for Burger Week. The Yukon fries were delicious, the burger was unusual, but in a good way, with spring lettuce, and nectarine sauce. It gave it a beefy, slight sweet taste. The service was quick, I think it was less than 10 minute wait, even with a full dining room, staff were courteous, and fast about getting our drinks.
