The Chicken Marsala was best I’ve ever had. We had a catered event here today and the staff was constantly watching for anyone that needed help. I’ll definitely come back for more dinners. The prices are high but the food is high end and absolutely worth every penny. Great job!

Apparently a new owner has taken over since February. The dining area is bright and cheerful. The prices are pretty much the same. The staff seems excited to have customers returning. I’m pretty sure the old guy in the back is a familiar face, which means the pizza is just as good as I remember

If I could give this place a negative review, I would. Visited for the first time to get 2 Italian subs with roasted reds, mayo, oil and vinegar. The lettuce N tomato should be included in the price due to the menu. Came out to 42$. Like how? I asked this and was given the answer that it was 6$ to add each additional toppings to the grinders. At first, I was okay with the price because we also ordered a small cheese pizza. After being rung up and waiting for the pizza at the counter. The gentleman who rang me out asked why I was standing their and I replied with, “waiting on the pizza we ordered,” he responded with, “I didn’t ring you up for that”! So 42$ wasn’t enough. Then, I was charged an additional 10$. Very basic food didn’t taste that great, and service was horrid. I’d never return this establishment again. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME! Also, the bread wasn’t worth it. Should’ve went else where!!!

In a group of 7 people, one person received a burger that was literally raw in the middle, and another’s chicken was so overcooked it was inedible. First time eating there for me, and it was a bit underwhelming to say the least. Waitress was very good though, and tried to help with the bad meals.

Great food, very good sauce. The only issue is on their subs (steak and cheese that my wife and I ordered) had no meat in it. The onions and mushrooms over powered the meat. I ate more bread than anything and the ending of the sub was bare! For the price of the sub that’s just greed. This happened the past two times we’ve ordered. Food is very good there as to why I give 3 stars!

Under new ownership and unfortunately not the great carini’s pizza it once was! The pizza tasted very generic and had a very sweet sauce. The pizza no longer stands out in the crowd like it once had. It’s now a dime a dozen. The pizza may not be for me but I do wish a small local business the best.

This place serves amazing garlic rolls!!! You have to get those! My dinner was chicken piccata, enough for lunch tomorrow, was absolutely delicious. Our server was great. Check it out…. And ok to BYOB of wine or beer (there’s a package store right across the street)!

An end of an Era my favorite pizza place has changed for the worse! I called asked for a quart of pasta fasool the girl who answered the phone didn’t know the menu or what that was! huh? No more foxon soda in the cooler my large pizza was 25 dollars a little bigger than a medium use to be not by much and was undercooked
Ingredients were different not the same sausage and seems like they changed the sauce too just not the same Gaetano pie or dough
38 dollars for soup and a pizza then for take out they have a new system that asks for tips for doing your job I can see a tip if you sat down and were served but for take out is not good and I’m aware you can skip the tip but everything has changed from my go to favorite pizza place in Wallingford I don’t think I’ll be going back, such a shame and a bummer
