This was our first visit and we had a superb experience. We drove from Anchorage just for brunch and were not disappointed. Our waiter was phenomenal and the setting was both elegant and casual. The menu was innovative and non typical, impressing us at a top level. The food brought out was beautiful, well prepared and plated meticulously. As a Chef of 30+ years I can’t say enough how much I appreciated all of the detail and craftsmanship put into our food and plating. The Chef even came out to finish my French onion soup at the table! Bravo!!! We can’t wait to experience dinner and this destination is at the top of our list for both recommendations and our next special night out. Prices were fair and drinks were fabulous and extensive.
Highly recommend everyone stop by and see what awesome things are being done here.
Side note that the ‘clock tower’ building has wonderful shops and specialty items you don’t find everywhere.

Delicious fresh ingredients with thoughtful flavor pairings and perfect execution. I was craving hawaiian fish and was absolutely blown away at how delicious my dishes were. I got the tuna appetizer and the Mahi mahi entree. Both were fresh, flavorful, and exceptional! The mahi was cooked to perfection and the light coconut curry sauce was a delicious accompaniment. Service was professional, I was dining solo and just wanted a quality meal with no frills. These guys make almost everything from scratch and take pride in the quality of their product and it shows.

We couldn’t have had a better experience here. We were so happy we went here after our elopement. The service was on point, the old fashioned is smoked table side with your selection of preferred ice and choice flavored smoking chips. We had two pasta dinners one spicy Alfredo and the Tuscan dinner. The spicy Alfredo was my husbands favorite they used ghost pepper and he loved how spicy it was. The Tuscan dinner was creamy & savory! They surprised us by honored our wedding day by playing wedding music and celebrated us at the table. The staff was soo welcoming. We came back for dinner a second time! Highly recommend Carina’s for awesome cocktails, delicious food, and great service.

Stopped in for a quick drink and appetizer while on our honeymoon. This place was so cute and had amazing food, drinks, and service. Everyone was unbelievably nice and informative. We met the owners and they were even better. A sweet married couple who just wanted to spread the love within their drinks / food. 10/10 should check them out!

It definitely threw me off first walking into this location. AK Chics to one side and Expedition on the other. Straight ahead was the restaurant which didn’t look like much from the door, but when you walked in there it was a welcoming atmosphere. The waitress was kind and attentive and the cook would come out to ask if everything tasted good. There had been a couple birthdays that night which the crew would bring out a pastry with a candle and have music playing in the background. I thought that was fun.
Everything was maintained and clean. You could set your own mood with a touch lamp on the table that had 3 settings of bright, medium bright and the last what I thought felt calm and relaxing. My wife had the New York cut with a blue cheese sort of glaze, mashed potatoes and veggies. I had had the seafood pasta. Everything was really good and we had enough to share with each other and our kiddo.
We checked out the upstairs which had a bar and fun chill ambiance yet still held a chic feel. I would def recommend this place and go back there after a long drive coming from the north any time. Plus, there is a local joint that sells ice cream next door! Can’t beat that!

I had an exceptionally nice and delicious dinner at Catina’s. The soup de jour was wonderful, but the Blue New York steak was amazing. The best part was how attentive the server was, treating me as if I was their most valued customer. I will be back!

Last night marked our second visit to Carina’s, and it was just as delightful as the first. A few weeks ago, we stumbled upon this gem and were blown away by the quality of the food, the stunning presentation, the attentive service, and the theatrical way they prepare an Old Fashioned right at your table. It was such a memorable experience that we decided to bring four friends along to celebrate a birthday. Once again, the evening was fantastic. The chef even took the time to chat with us after our meal, which was a lovely touch. I wholeheartedly recommend Carina’s at the Clocktower; it’s quickly becoming our favorite local dining spot.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times. My most recent visit was for appetizers and drinks with some friends. We ate upstairs, which was lovely, and I much prefer the atmosphere to the downstairs dining room.
The server/chef/owner that helped us was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good, although my soup was forgotten (I wasn’t charged for it). I had the Greek salad and it was delicious! Crisp cucumbers and flavorful onions and tomatoes with a well balanced dressing. My friend enjoyed their ahi tuna appetizer as well. I love that they have a NA drink list, as well as delicious cocktails.

We are visiting Alaska from Pennsylvania, and were driving from Alyeska to Denali when we dropped at Carina’s at the Clock Tower. What a gem! We tried the langostine deviled eggs, which were delicious. I had the eggs benedict with a crab cake and avocado, and it was so good! The English muffin was really fresh and the eggs were cooked perfectly. We also enjoyed their mimosa selection- they had so many flavors to choose from! We tried the mango and pineapple and wow, what a treat! Highly recommend this place if you’re in Wasilla. Locals are so lucky to have this place in their backyard!
