The food was amazingly great I ordered the grilled hugggeee pork chops along with yellow rice and red beans. This food tasted so good I was knocked off both of my feet’s . Yes I said feet’s. First time ordering this meal so this was a great find after a movie. The service was quick very nice staff people and the dining in service people looked very pleased as they sat and ate. I took my food to go. The food was fantastic. I will be coming back to try their other options. Please stop by you won’t regret it.

I recently brought a client here and had a really enjoyable experience. The restaurant was not busy at all on a Saturday, but the service was still great and we felt well taken care of.

As for the food, I ordered the steak with onions and my client had the pork chops. Both dishes were good and very well prepared.

Overall, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Spanish food restaurant.

The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, and the service and food quality are both excellent.

It’s a shame that the restaurant was not busier, as it definitely deserves more attention. Give this place a try!

All the ladies at this restaurant need to be trained on customer service because it’s horrible they don’t even smile or acknowledge you especially if you don’t seem to speak Spanish & The food quality is very inconsistent. Sometimes it tastes good, other times it has almost no flavor at all it’s really a hit or miss. they’re lucky they’re the only Spanish restaurant in the heart of New Rochelle, because if another option opened nearby…they’ll be in trouble

Overall, the customer service and unreliable food quality make it hard for me to recommend this spot.

I got Pernil from this place and it was so dry, you could tell it was old and been serve many times over, I gave it to my dog and even he didn’t even eat it so I ended up throwing it out, what a waste of 9 bucks. Worst Pernil ever. Don’t buy

First of all, I absolutely love the waiter, he’s the nicest sweetest, most pleasant person ever. Secondly, if you’re looking for a place that has fish specifically with fins and scales, this place really has a great variety at amazing prices and very very high quality.

Absolutely wonderful experience!
The food is just delicious and the staff and ambiance is awesome. Fully recommend this place. It’s the first Dominican restaurant I have been to that is authentic. And trust me, I’ve been to quiet a few. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and help us celebrate our friends birthday.
Definitely coming back soon!

A friend and I were in the mood for some Latin food one night, and decided to go here. Well, first and last time honestly. The place was not busy at all (we actually went at an off time, so it wasn’t a dinner rush) and we were seated right away. It took us a while to decide what we were going to order, and even though the place wasn’t busy, the delay in ordering must have annoyed the waitress. What we couldn’t figure out, because we have been to other Latin places, is why everything had to be ordered separately (with a separate charge), and although they had dinner specials, I didn’t think a plate was worth the twenty plus dollars they cost. I ordered a half rack of ribs, with lobster tail (not actual lobster, langostine shrimp and way WAY overcooked) and 3 shrimp, and my friend ordered a t bone steak with 3 shrimp. We each ordered rice and beans with the plate. Once we placed our order, the waitress, who didn’t write anything down (which is perfectly fine, IF you don’t have to come back to the table twice to check how a steak was ordered (rare, medium rare, etc) brought toasted bread to the table, which was nice, but practically sliding it across the table isn’t. The food arrived, and my friend, who had ordered a diet coke, ordered another, which never came (there was only one charge for the soda on the bill, but once again, the place was NOT busy). The food was warm, not hot, and overcooked. We had to ask for a refill on water. People started to come in, and we just asked for the check. One important note, this place also has like a hot service where people can make their own plates like a buffet, and that may be where they make all their money, cause they sure aren’t making it with table service.

Great variety of fresh tasting dishes with very good table service. Mofongo was great. Beef stew was almost as good as grandma’s, needed to be a tad more tender. Arroz Moro was excellent. Tres leches cake was freshly made and not too sweet. Coffee was strong the way it should be. Worthy of multiple return visits to further explore the menu. They have multiple seafood dishes to consider.
