I drove 20 mins to try this restaurant. I brought 3 plates to get a feel for the menu. What a waste of money. Everything lacked flavor. The Curry Goat was overcooked and tough. The Jerk Chicken, Oxtails, Curry Goat, Rice and Peas, Green beans, and Cabbage could have used more seasoning. The best thing on the.plate were the plantains. Definitely won’t be coming back to this establishment.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, and honestly this one isn’t terrible. The service itself was fine, friendly staff, clean restaurant, and a nice atmosphere. But the food? Unfortunately, it was a big letdown. I was craving oxtails while in Oklahoma for work and decided to give this spot a try. From the very first bite, I was disappointed. The food had no flavor, no seasoning, just nothing. I should have known when I saw it was “Caribbean American” and not authentic Caribbean cuisine, but that’s on me. The restaurant itself is nice, but the food lacked any soul or passion. Even the cabbage, which is usually hard to mess up, was bad. And the mac and cheese? Just plain disappointing. Overall, I was disappointed.

The restaurant itself was clean, staff was friendly, and seating is limited. Food was very homemade, which was great! I had the grilled fish & it took about 6-12 minutes to make fresh, but it was great. They add onions & peppers. Would love to come back again & try more food!

I had noticed this place in passing. It wasn’t until the establishment was showcased on channel 9 news for its cuisine. Everything about my experience was nice.

I love it here I always come in and get the ox tails and Mac n cheese … a literal masterpiece. The catfish is so good too! Dont forget to grab a chicken or a beef patty on your way out!

I stopped in this cozy spot years ago on a delivery. The place was very clean and the food looked wonderful. I’ve been content customer every since. Everything is good though I almost always order the Red Snapper. On a large order you can select 2 meat choices. Love the sorrel tea and don’t forget to ask for the bread!
I love you Mrs Sharon, all the best to you and your husband.

I’m new here. I actually do not live in OKC, but where I do live theirs no Caribbean food. I was raised around Caribbean’s and love Caribbean food. I happened to be in the city when giving this place a chance: Service was great, quantity was great. But sadly the food was flavorless, I’m shocked reading everyone’s reviews, this place seemed amazing but I didn’t get to experience amazing food. Speant $67 for curry goat with spinach rice, lentils, another plate of oxtails with rice and beans, mac and cheese and cabbage. Also got the beef and chicken patty’s. This was all for me and my husband, both of us were really dissapointed, Food tasted so bland, I never once in my life had to add salt & pepper to CARIBBEAN FOOD. Honestly so disappointed. Ofcourse we had to eat it cause I ain’t spend all that driving and $67 to just throw it away.
I’m just hoping it was a bad day, based on everyone else’s reviews I will give this place another chance.

Delicious Caribbean food served cafeteria-style. We tried the jerk chicken, curry chicken, oxtails, beef patty, and drinks. The portion size for a large could have been a bit bigger. The oxtails were tender but lacked a bit of seasoning. The jerk chicken was packed with flavor and definitely a highlight! Overall, it was a satisfying experience, and I’ll definitely be back!

We tried this place while in the area visiting. We were greeted as soon as we entered. You choose your entree and two sides, they have large plates and small plates, both come with two sides. We tried the Lamb Stew and Goat Curry. Both were very delicious and had that home cook taste. Sharon who was behind the counter also did the cooking. The sides were plentiful and delicious. The Red Beans and Rice was so tasty as were the Mac and Cheese and Spinach Rice. This is a very small restaurant that is cafeteria style plate lunches. Tell them what you want and they put in on the plate. They have a few tables to sit down and eat and found the restaurant very clean as were the restrooms. We will return the next time we are in the area.

Seasonings are good. A piece of goat was a bit chewy but the rest was tender. Cabbage was okay. Plantains were hot and tasty. Ox tails were flavorful and the gravy went well with the peas and rice.
Prices are what you’d expect. Hospitality is another thing that could be elevated, but not too big a turn off
