My go-to? The Carmel High Rise — hot, iced, or blended, it’s the caramel-kissed delight that fuels all my best decisions (and a few questionable ones, too). Smooth espresso, silky caramel, and just the right amount of joy in every sip.

Almost, forever I’ve hated drive-thru. Totally impersonal & if you don’t get what you ordered, you have to go back through to complain. That being said it took me awhile before I started going to this one in Columbus/Forest Lake. Service was great, friendly & quick, but I still don’t care for the drive-thru.

Order a larger Carmel cooler no whip keep drizzle with salt sugar. Got Carmel cooler with whip n no salt. They took whip off but also didn’t fill the cup back up, so now it’s not even a full larger drink. I repeated no whip twice. Also drink tasts more like water then coffee or carmel. Measurement are off

I ordered a large hot crafted press with chocolate and a large hot crafted press with pumpkin. Received our drinks and thought something felt odd – they were pretty light. I get caribou a lot so I know what a large crafted press feels like. After getting on the highway picked it up again really light. So my wife pulled the cover off hers (she hadn’t had any yet) and hers was between 2/3 and 3/4 full, if that. She opened mine – same thing. We then figured out that mine had the chocolate in it, but there was no pumpkin in hers. Now, I’ve had an underfilled drink from the Forest Lake cabin before – I wrote it off to a one time screw up. No biggie. Now, after 3, 2 in the same order underfilled the exact same amount, I have to believe this is on purpose. The Caribous I normally go to do not do this. Caribou has jacked their prices through the roof and now this store decides to increase margins even more. If you’re in Forest Lake – avoid the cabin on 97 like the plague – go to Hugo, Lino Lakes or North Branch. You won’t get screwed over at those locations.

Most of the time when I order my drink from here, it tastes great. In the last several months, however, the order that I get every single time has been made with inconsistent quality. Sometimes it’s perfect, other times it tastes watered down or there’s zero detection of the vanilla simple syrup almost as if they forgot to add it entirely. It’s reached a point where I’m completely sick of having to remake my coffee at work, not worth the money, not worth the CHANCE my order will be made right. I recommend visiting literally any other Caribou location. The one in Lino Lakes never disappoints, they’ll give you great customer service and the coffee you actually ordered.
