Hi! I went in for the bogo today and was in line a few minutes before it ended at 3:30, got to the register, ordered, and asked to use the bogo promotion. The gal at the register was very nice said it was no problem it was still well before 3:30. The barista she was working with came over with attitude and rudely stated they were stopping the promotion early and I was not able to get the bogo anymore even after she had helped the lady in front of me and offered the bogo to her. I guess I’m just confused as to why I was denied when I ordered well before the cut of time and would like to say I did not appreciate how I was talked to while I was there. It was extremely rude and disrespectful and as a former barista I cannot imagine ever talking to a customer in this manner!

Person manning the counter, with curly hair and glasses, was kinda dismissive and rude. I waited ~10 minutes for my drink only to find it had already been melting on the counter because they didn’t call my name or tell me where the pick up counter was 🙁 I get customer service jobs, but come on man at least let me know when my drink is ready

**Overview & Atmosphere**
This Caribou Coffee, tucked inside Family Fresh to the left, is probably one of the best small locations out there, even without a drive-thru. It boasts plenty of seating, including two comfy chairs next to a cozy fireplace, making it a great spot to relax or catch up on work. The atmosphere is inviting, and with an entire grocery store at your disposal, plus amenities like public bathrooms, a drinking fountain, an Easy Tab machine, a Redbox, and a Coinstar, it’s a convenient stop for more than just coffee.
**Ordering Experience**
Ordering here is straightforward and easy. However, the pickup area could use clearer signage, as it’s not always obvious where to get your order. Occasionally, there’s some clutter around the pickup spot, which could be improved, but it’s a minor issue in an otherwise smooth experience.
**Menu Highlights**
The menu offers all the classics, from mochas to matcha, but my personal favorite is the chicken sausage sandwich paired with a large white chocolate mocha with an extra shot of espresso—definitely the best items on the menu. Their matcha is also fantastic, offering a great alternative if you’re not in the mood for coffee.
**Bubble Tea Warning**
One downside, though, is their bubble tea. Unfortunately, they serve it with square bubbles, which just don’t hit the mark. The texture and taste are off, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re a bubble tea fan. This is something across all Caribou locations, not just this one, and it does affect the overall food experience slightly. Get round bubbles, Caribou!

I was very disappointed in how the customer in front of me was treated today. He ordered two iced coffees and was charged over $16. I saw the receipt and it showed a $5 drink and a $6 drink plus less than $1 in tax. It was very simple math and very obviously wrong. The staff wouldn’t give him the time of day when he brought it up.

When I have an opening morning shift, I regularly come here because it is open the earliest out of the rest of the coffee places in River Falls. I have never had a bad drink here. Also, I stopped by this evening and ordered an Iced Pumpkin Crafted Press and the barista put little toffee pieces at the bottom of the cup. This little surprise made my night and the drink was really good.

The 2 younger girls working were sitting behind the counter, hiding out of site and giggling trying to get away with not working. I had to repeat my order several times as she was distracted. The coffee was good in the end at least.
