I ordered a fried cheese Mofongo and paid for extra cheese on the side and this is what was delivered to me. I’ve never ever seen a more disgusting Mofongo. Now to make matters worse the empanada was cold and the beef was dry.

OH YEAH! Breakfast is excellent and the price is right. Jose and his team are the nicest people and make delicious food. For lunch, his chicken soup is outstanding and NO ONE makes better ribs. Stop reading and GO!!! Just save me some goat…

Customer service is always great! They have the larger empanadas and they dont run out too early on week days. You can still get one before lunch. They have a large selection to choose from and a menu you can order from if it’s not on the hot bar. I love the various different versions of Dominican spaghetti I’ve tried though out life, but this one is always a little different from the last. But either way it tastes like grandma is in the back making all the family receipts. A little salty sometimes but that could be me following a low sodium life style.
If you are looking for home cooked Dominican food at a great price…. This is the spot. Plus everyone is so friendly and says “hello”and “enjoy your meal”…. Something about this place feels like home. Don’t be shy if your Spanish is not the best. They will take care of you no matter what language you speak!

The atmosphere is one of a small deli. Which is to say that there isn’t much atmosphere. This place shines because of their food. The food was delicious, exactly what I needed & was just darned tasty. They actually brought me back to my childhood, with food I ate growing up. So grateful this place is there!

There’s nothing better than simple, delicious food. The roasted pork is just amazing…tender, perfectly seasoned and seared. The skin…oh mannn…The baked chicken is fall-off-the bone juicy and flavorful. I could eat this everyday with the rice and beans. Can’t wait to go back to try some oxtail soup or pork belly. Love this place!
