Great Dominican food in this place. There are some more expensive places in the area, but this inexpensive place has the best tasting food. The Mangu is awesome, when you can get it. They run out of it freequently so get there early if you want some.

The neighborhood is bad. The store is good. The carry out food is good. I’ve been approached by hoods and prostitutes on the street outside the store. You need to know how to deal with them or you may have trouble. I get in and out as quickly as possible. The fried fish is awesome. Same for the potato balls, chicken, and pork.

Do not leave this place without trying the food! I’ve had a lot of Latino & Caribbean food in York and this spot is definitely one to come back to. Get some Chicharron, Platanos maduros, and do not miss out on the rice & beans with chicken it’s soooo good. & Make to bring cash.
