It was a wonderful first experience, and I certainly plan to return. I thoroughly enjoyed the quarter leg jerk chicken, cabbage, rice and beans, and plantains. Being quite hungry, I unfortunately neglected to capture a photo of the entire meal before starting. However, I did manage to take a picture of the plantains after a few bites. Everything was absolutely delicious. The whole experience was a 10 out of 10.

I came here a few weeks ago with friends, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was just as impressive. What really stood out was the hospitality—one of the owners personally came over to introduce themselves and chat with us, which made us feel genuinely welcomed and appreciated. You can really tell they care about their guests. Definitely a place I’d recommend and return to!

Great genuine Jamaican cuisine. I love their Ox tail dish. It is delicious The Jerk chicken is amazing. Just a heads up, it has a good kick. My wife loves their Fried Snapper and the Curry Chicken is extraordinary. Full of delicious flavor and tender. We go there at least twice a month.

Started with the Bob Marley Cocktail just as yummy as they look. Jerk wings for appetizer had a nice punch. Beans and rice a little dry for me, cabbage was out of this world, Mac and cheese was great. Collard greens a little too much vinegar and pepper, would prefer to add my own if I needed to. Had the shrimp it was cooked very well. Potatoes salad was good but on the sweet side. All staff speak to you and are warm and welcoming. Our server might need a little more training; seemed nervous and unsure. Besides that I would go back.

So once again my favorite Jamaican spot has left me full and happy. Celebrated my birthday there this evening with family. Started with the Bob Marley cocktail that was really good, Jerk chicken is amazing, this is my favorite jerk ever, Red snapper was cooked perfectly and wonderfully flaky.Brown stew chicken is also really good. Some of the best Mac & cheese ever, candied yams are a must and you have to do coconut cake. The owners and staff are always so wonderful, and create an amazing relaxing atmosphere, This is a MUST GO TO if in the area.

The restaurant looks good for dining in , and the customer service was good but the food is another matter . Perhaps it’s that whomever cooked today is lacking experience because the foods I received gives “Caribbean food” a very bad name . It was edible but was it good ? no not in my opinion . None of the food I bought be it the oxtail or the cake tasted anywhere close to worth the $60+ I spent . The oxtail was displeasing to the eyes and tongue , the rice and beans was drenched in something appearing to be gravy and lacked much flavor . The cake just had the looks but an awful taste . I would not recommend this restaurant unless you’re certain of the qualifications of the person who will cook your food .

Visited for the first time early on a Friday night. Glad we did, I imagine they are packed every night. The oxtail was juicy, snapper fresh and jerk chicken tender and spicy. Going back soon for that rum cake

This place was soooo Dope and Delicious!!! I was so happy to find this gem located in the downtown area! The food was so so good, it was clean, Caribbean music playing in the background, and the service was outstanding. GOOD VIBES!!! It felt like home. I had the oxtails, rice and peas with cabbage. The meat fell off the bones. Yes I cleaned my plate. A must try in the Roanoke City area. I will be back.
